Hi all, first post here. I sent my iphone 6s to apple to swap out the battery under the recall, but apple says they can't fix it because I have a broken LCD. The problem is that the phone has an intact screen, there is no visible damage on the screen. Is it possible to have a damaged or cracked LCD that is not visible to the naked eye? I am trying to decide if I should pay for this fix or if they made a mistake.

This is the picture they sent me..

Yes, the LCD is the pixels of the phone, the glass could be perfect and the LCD dead, (although not likely, it is possible), try contacting Apple Support to see what they can do

Funny how they used a red photo for your phone's mugshot
My photo came back with green
