Agreed. However, in brand new condition. I think the black and slate iPhone 5 color was the absolute apex in terms of industrial design for any Apple phone ever created. Followed by black/space grey iPhone 5S, then the white iPhone 5, then the silver iPhone 5S. The 4/4S follow after that.

I mean, have we forgotten how beautiful these phones were?

Man you are right... Both the iP4 and the iP5 were breathtakingly beautiful at the very first moment you laid eyes on them. To me iP6 is just OK (I don't think they are ugly, but I think there's waaaay more in Jony Ive... let's get out hopes up for the iP7 :)).

No, but nice packaging, is, well, nice.
The plain vanilla packaging is just plain boring. That is stupid.
I'm sure you drive a plain vanilla car, buy all your food in plain vanilla packaging, buy all your books and magazines in plain brown wrappers, etc. etc.

A little color just looks nce. Doesn't add to the value of what's contained in the package, just looks good.

You realize a fancy label doesn't make a beer or wine better, but people are influenced by them and actually collect them.

I was joking in my last post! I still think these look much better than last years boxes.

The Galaxy S6 doesn't have antenna bars at back.it's made if glass and metal, antenna bars were not necessary.
It has 2 very short bars at buttom, not noticeable at all unlike iPhone's.

I agree with you.

And you clearly prefer the glass back. I do not - I like aluminum. So I'm going to tend to put up with the antenna lines. However, the iPhone 6/6s does not have antenna lines on the bottom of the phone, so when its in its Apple leather case, all thats exposed for me is the bottom. And thats where the S6 looks ugly comparatively. So, going back to my initial point, did Samsung unthinkingly copy the iPhone antenna design (even on that little bottom bit), or is that the only possible way to implement an antenna on the S6?

Some dude who ordered the Rose Gold iPhone 6s:

"It's not pink! It's Rose Gold! It's more like copper! It's definitely not pink! In no way it's pink and in no way will I admit that I like pink!"

Seriously. Say you like pink if you like pink. I've seen various photos and videos of the phone and it looks pink to me. However, you know, like the blue/black-white/gold debate, some people just perceive colours in a very weird way.

I'll be very surprised if they look this reddish-pink in person. If you look at the tables and the cardboard boxes, they have a distinctively red hue. Even the highlights on the tables (upper-right) are pink. I seriously doubt the tables are pink.... so this could be a case of some very messed up white balance.

I have no doubt they'll look pink under certain lighting conditions, but I think in good white light they'll be a little less pink and a little more copper.

iPhone prices are high all over the world except US....
Blame the world is a little bit US centric, isn't it?
Hey, I'm not from the U.S. :)

Also the US price is ex-VAT but AFAIK the prices quoted in European Union and the UK have included VAT? Maybe this is one of the reason too esp. in some countries with VAT as high as 20% or more.

I know right. I've always been a fan of black models and it really disturbed me when Apple started to picture almost exclusively white iPhones in their ads. Like the original color (black) of the iPhone didn't even exist, like it wasn't "cool" enough for the majority of the people. I too can't understand why they can't offer more color options for a black front, like they did it with the white 3G back then. it would be nice if with the iP7 they returned to their legacy and brought back the black iPhone in the spotlight.
I also agree as well!!!
