Oh I can understand wanting more color choices for black bezels. Black is actually my preferred color for the bezels, but I did decide to change it up this time since I don't dislike white. I am very surprised Apple didn't offer a black chassis or near black like that on the Apple Watch. And like so many people here, I'm surprised they released three white bezel models and only one with black. I don't know why, but I did not anticipate such lack of balance in the product offering. It's all perplexing and I can understand the frustration.

The opinions expressed about the new rose gold have been as colorful as the phone. But we're all adults here and I can take in such opinions without getting offended. In fact, I'm amused by some. Love it or hate it, we can't deny it's quite the conversation piece!

And the debates over the color itself remind me of all the fuss surrounding this interesting orange and green :p dress:

Loving the white and rose gold dress!

Why apple? Why couldn't you make a space black iPhone 6s?
Space Gray looks

when picking a color for your iPhone you should always keep in mind that the most important part is the color you want on the front because the back can allways be changed by putting a case on it but it's not so easy to change the color on the front

Feel free to whoosh me, but where do I come in to this point? xD

I think what I may do with my Space Gray 6s Plus when I get it is buy a mophie case in Gold that way my phone will be Gold on the back & Black on front

Fair enough, I just will be going with a custom navy-Blue case I had made for my 6 Plus if it still fits; but just in case, the midnight blue 6S leather case is sitting upstairs.

It should fit because from what I been totaled most if not all 6 Plus Casses will fit the 6s Plus

It looks that way based in comparing the new leather case to my old one I got originally with the 6 Plus which seem to be exact the same. It was a caution etc! The case in question I had made is a tight snap case so I am sure you can see why :)

As far as the pink (Rose Gold) iPhone this I don't think will be to hot with males but most if not all females I'm sure will want it.

What I would like to see is a Black Face iPhone with a Red Back. But then again for most of us the color of the back won't matter much because anyone smart I'm sure will have their phone in a case.
That would make for an incredible Product Red model!

I used to wonder earlier why Apple doesn't just add in a few of the IPod a Touch colors to its iPhone lineup. But now that I see the very strong negative reaction to the rather (comparatively) subdued Rose Gold/pink, I can understand their decision to keep with familiar colors and add just one new color to the lineup.

I am honestly surprised to find that colors outside of black and silver are so controversial and held in such strong contempt. I was aware Gold had gotten some negative reactions but I wasn't on the forum when it was introduced. Looking around at all the bold colors of Android devices and Microsoft phones, I didn't think IPhone fans would be so bothered by having choices other than silver/white and grey/black. But I do understand men would like more than one conservatively colored option. I just wasn't expecting anyone to begrudge adventurous men and ladies some extra choices.

I was just saying most men don't like pink but don't get me wrong some do

Seems Apple have found their ink again!! Not sure what they were doing with the iPhone 6 box, it was boring and had no colour. These boxes look much better in my opinion.

Finally somebody who values the important things in life.

I too only buy my iPhones for the box designs.

Skipped the last generations since the 4S, but now..................

Yep. Packaging is way more important than the phone itself. If you believe otherwise, you're stupid.

Considering pre-1920 pink was a MALE COLOR, and pink wasn't really asserted as a "women"'s color in western society until the 1950s, I find this assertion very funny; as if pink was innately not manly, like wigs, long hair, much jewelry, cosmetics and all sort of thing from a not so distant past (and many times still manly in many other current cultures).

Not really. The motion wallpapers are exclusive to the 6s and 6s Plus, why not show them off?

That's a good point. I didn't realize they were motion wallpapers. However, in my opinion they are not a good choice for product packaging. Just very awkward images, which of course is a subjective position.

No, but nice packaging, is, well, nice.
The plain vanilla packaging is just plain boring. That is stupid.
I'm sure you drive a plain vanilla car, buy all your food in plain vanilla packaging, buy all your books and magazines in plain brown wrappers, etc. etc.

A little color just looks nce. Doesn't add to the value of what's contained in the package, just looks good.

You realize a fancy label doesn't make a beer or wine better, but people are influenced by them and actually collect them.

I'm glad they brought back the image on the front of the box. The iPhone 6 box was way too minimalistic and basic, even.

How have you held the rose gold iPhone? Wait, the answer is no because it's not released.

That awkward moment when I actually have gotten to play with all 4 6S models.

Think hard and long as to what would be the reason as to why I did, you'll eventually figure it out. Not going to publicly disclose it.

I'm sure you're smart enough.

You must be a Foxconn Chinese sweat shop worker. I hope you didn't touch my iPhone.

It's almost day and night from the iPhone 5/5S, yeah? The protruding camera, the rounded edges, the huge, clunky phone, the plastic eyesore band strips on the back, the obscenely tacky colors like gold and rose gold pink... It's unimaginable.
Actually I don't mind the "design" of the 6/6S. The colors are just ridiculous though. How about black? As in not space grey, just plain black.

Too many white models. We need more diversity.

I know right. I've always been a fan of black models and it really disturbed me when Apple started to picture almost exclusively white iPhones in their ads. Like the original color (black) of the iPhone didn't even exist, like it wasn't "cool" enough for the majority of the people. I too can't understand why they can't offer more color options for a black front, like they did it with the white 3G back then. it would be nice if with the iP7 they returned to their legacy and brought back the black iPhone in the spotlight.
