You sure about that? They both look pink to me (relative to the copper color of the rose gold AW Edition).

I've tried on the AWS Rose Gold. It's not that pink. They're different colors. Trust me.

No, they are not. They are different shades. Much like how the space gray watch and space gray iPhone are different colors. Nice try though bro. Try again lol

Because you've seen them? Try again sir.

When you've held them, then you can speak. They're both the same shade, the dock, the phone and the watch.

You tried on in the Apple Store that's full of strong fluorescent light, which can throw off the color? Keep in mind that many members thought that the Space Black AW looked gunmetal inside the display table when it's in fact black.

Based on the renders, they both look pink (especially compared to the copper color of the rose gold AW Edition). It remains to be seen whether the rose gold AWS and rose gold iPhone are exactly the same hue. You can't say you're absolutely sure, since you didn't have the rose gold iPhone on hand to compare it to.

If someone has already gotten their hands on these, why don't they get some benchmarks? First open box reviews? That would be sweet. :) I'm excited for next Friday!

Rose gold iPhone should have been called pink. The apple watch rose gold is true. This is a lie.
They are likely the same color. You can only really compare if they are in the same shot, otherwise the lighting will be different, along with the white balance of the camera.

This is likely an employee of FoxConn or Apple packing them up for shipment. Taking a photo is risking their job enough; they sure as hell aren't going to expand the window of possibly being caught by trying to play around with the phone. Not to mention Apple's activation servers will know what serial number was activated and they'll be able to track it down to the employee who did it.

Yea still don't understand why the silver one doesn't come in black as well. I'll never buy anything other than space gray, but I'm sure there are tons of people who would like to have the silver in black
but they could branch off even more. I had a coworker that had a custom pink front placed on her iphone 5s. In other words the front does not need to be restricted to black and white. Imagine the rose gold phone with a pink face (ooh, i think i just threw up a little).....:p:oops::rolleyes:

People don't realize that the color will be very different under strong direct light (like a flash) than under reflected or diffuse light like (which is how things are mostly seems)

The iPhone 6 had the perfect box. Not really a fan of this year's, especially for Space Gray which is what I ended up going with.
In my opinion its the other way around. the iphone 6 box was just boring. plain white, nothing actually emphasising the phone that was on it. You couldnt even see it.
now they have something for you too look at

I'm sorry but I'm not going to buy one .... It will costs 889€ in Italy (do your math) for the 64 gigs model.
That's plain ridiculous.

I think a dragon rather than fish tails would have been better for the screen face boxes of the China Phone.
