How on earth do you people accumulate all these scratches? I do not baby my phone in the slightest and there are still ZERO scratches on the display since launch.

I've noticed this as well. I got my 6S Plus in late November/early December and there a ton of hairline scratches. I've had an iPhone since the 4S and never had this problem. I've never dropped my phone or put it in my pocket with anything else, other than my iPod (and my phone was always on top, screen away from it).

Sounds like a possible issue with the coating. Take it to an Apple Store and have them look at it.

I have my 6S Plus in the silicon case since I bought it with no screen protector and there is not a single blemish on it.

It is common sense to use screen protector. Brand just makes the phone look the pretty to sell it but durability is not their concern.

Never used a screen protector and never had a problem. It's not a requirement, hell, Apple doesn't even sell one for their phones

I've had 5 iPhones, this is the only one to do this.

Never use screen protector only case from 1st gen, 3gs, 4s, 5s, to 6+, never had screen scratches, since other than 1st gen & 6+, I sold all other as no scratch after 2 years locally and buyer had zero issue with any scratch.

Only use old but clean 100% cotton t-shirt or clean car buff grade microfiber clothes to clean screen. I know some people use paper towel or tissue paper to clean screen, and cellulose fibers, which also make up wood, cotton, and many other plants, on them are just bad for any screen cleaning.

OK, so the scratching issue is getting worse and worse on my 6s Plus. It's literally COVERED in hairline scratches now. I just grabbed my year-old (day 1!) iPhone 6 Plus, and it is PERFECT. Not a single scratch anywhere, after a year of abuse in my pocket.

Someone else has to be encountering this, surely? There has to be a reason why my 6s Plus is suffering this way...
[doublepost=1466169769][/doublepost]I just noticed this too. Mine is especially scratched at bottom middle from missing when plugging in the charger and at the top where it slides into my pocket. I've had iphone, 3g, 4s, 5s, 6plus, and this 6s plus is the first ever to scratch. They had to change the screen and it passes me off. These guys saying it shouldn't bother us, screw them. We're iphone loyalists and deserve what we've come to expect over the years. Hope they change it back or I'm out.

Do you have a 6s plus. If you do I'd be careful.

Yes, I do. I've had it since launch day, never used a screen protector, and there's still not a scratch to be found on the screen. I've stared at it several times under extremely bright light, and I can't pick up a single scratch.

The only step I've ever taken to avoid a possible scratch is not putting it in a pocket with other things. It always has it's own dedicated pocket. Otherwise, I don't make an effort to baby it whatsoever, aside from wiping it clean here and there.

I've had this problem on two different screens, both 6s plus. Don't know if 3D Touch is involved in the screen being susceptible to these micro scratches or if it was just a coincidence.

I have noticed tiny scratches on my 6S, but only in direct sunlight. It doesn't bother me

Well, my first 6s had the same issue, tons of mini scratches all over the screen. I had it replaced for a different issue, new replacement now I've had for 2 months? Zero scratches, been even rougher with this one. So seems like Apple had a bad batch

Some iPhone 6 had this issue as well. There was a whole big thread about it. I'm not sure what causes it, but I'm in the same boat. I baby my phone (6S+), and it is still accumulating little scratches. All of my previous iPhones looked pristine when I gave them away after a year.
