I've had all the iPhones since the first one and i've noticed the quality getting poorer by the year...It might be my bad luck though. But it makes sense however if we think about the large quantities they ship every year. This is a serious question... Ali hear is how Apple's QC is suffering.
I heard this in 2012
Then 2013
Then 2014
Now 2015...
How long has Apple's QC been "suffering?" Every iPhone launch there's people on here talking about QC issues... Also the QC issues are always the "worst" I've ever seen.
Is it really QC or OCD??

I got the replacement. It's a TSMC model. It runs worse than the Samsung one (i noticed a lot of lag) and the battery drainage seems the same for day the day tasks. Also the screen is way worseLet's hope third time's the charm...
I ordered a iPhone 6S Plus 64 in Silver through Verizon. Got the phone on Tuesday. Noticed staggered dark spots at the top of the screen. Ordered a replacement immediately. The replacement came in yesterday with the same issue, but slightly less noticeable. Verizon has been notified of the issue. I will be waiting until stock replenishes in the Apple Stores before I get another replacement. View attachment 596918
I live within 3 miles of an Apple Store, works for me. Its not about proximity to an Apple Store, its about not being able to get to one. Use your imagination, make something up![]()
Use live chat it works better. I got them to do an express replacement for free without Apple care.

Went to Genius Bar. Was told this isn't a problem and they won't replace it. Still don't understand how so many of you get 3-4 replacements without a problem to me it seems Apple doesn't want to replace a phone for ANYTHING anymore
It's no wonder why they won't. There are too many people who abuse the return/exchange policy for everything under the sun. If this keeps up Apple is going to have a return fee just like the wireless carriers do now....Went to Genius Bar. Was told this isn't a problem and they won't replace it. To be fair though, nasty screens and broken home buttons are a fair reason to return a £700 device.
the guy told me thats normal for a screen but honestly its not that bad but my eye always catches it and it annoys the hell out of me. what does it cost apple to replace it?? they are taking it back from me cleaning it up and putting it back in the pool, it not like they are passing on a 1000$ device for free
I'm presuming you're outside the 14 days? If so, is it really worth swapping for a refurb which may very well have a screen issue plus something else wrong with it? I certainly wouldn't be so trigger happy to exchange for a screen fault if I was getting a refurb. Heck, the brand new phones are a gamble and a half.
You're right, but still I feel apple's customer service has gone down hill, I had an iPhone since day 1 and I only had to use the genius bar replacement for 1 original iPhone and 1 3g, From the 3G on I never even sniffed the genius bar but now Im noticing more and more(from mine and my wifes perspective) that the genius bar people have got 'meaner', I'm sure they deal with *******s all day but still. I tried apple chat and they wanted to charge me full price on a credit card as they sent a replacement and then chargeback when they received my old phone. What if someone steals the phone in the mail? Im out 900 until all the investigation is finished??
Yeah, there is that risk. I've never done a genius swap before, once I'm beyond the 14 days I just live with it. My old iPhone 5 had a loose mute switch, loose volume buttons and a loose power button. I kept it but man did those niggling faults annoy me over time. They detracted from the premium vibe I had bought into and I swore that I would never accept a sub-par phone again. Then I got lumbered with a dog of a 6+ and it gave me nothing but problems for ten months before I gave in, sold it and bought the 6S+. So this time too right I want a good phone and for £700 up front I'm going to damned well get one. It's not my fault that I'm on my fourth, it's Apple's fault. I'm not OCD or overly picky, I just have standards.
I don't know what to suggest but you really should have taken it back within the first 14 days when you had a no quibble returns period. Now you're stuck unless something they can 'test' for occurs.
I suppose you could go sell it and recoup the price and buy another one?I just called my carrier for a replacement and they are giving me a problem too, now I'm really going to deal with it and thats that. I didn't notice the problem within the 14 days or I would have switched it

Lovely warm screen though. I've had four 6S+ and every last one of them has had a super-bright cool screen. Very fatiguing. The thing is, one of them started off neutral to warm and two days later it had turned a cool blue. Most bizarre. This is the best i could manage with my iPad camera. It's much more noticeable IRL.

My 6s Plus started out more "dingy" than my 5s, but a few days later it was much brighter than the 5s. Weird.
