It's the primary reason why I'm on my 4th phone. I thought it was a fault but they all do it so perhaps not.

It's lovely and warm at home under incandescent light but quite blue under fluorescent light in the office.

It must be something to do with the 3D screen. Perhaps the diffuser in the backlight reflects ambient light back to the user?!?!!?

I've given up swapping as I think this is just what they are like.

What really annoys me is all the phones I've had have a slight yellow to blue colour shift left to right. My current phone is the best of the bunch. It's subtle but it's there. I do a lot of reading on my phone so it's a little distracting.

It could quite possibly be to do with the 3D Touch mechanics. If only I could just fit my old 6+ screen to this phone. I'd gladly give up 3D Touch to get a more pleasant viewing experience (if that is indeed what's causing the issue).

This bluish shadowing on the 6s+ screen edges is awfully distracting when reading or viewing content on a white background. Do new units have this issue still? Is this issue just the nature of the beast for the 6s+?

Mine does not have this issue. If it bugs you indefinitely then I'd get it replaced.

I've seen this blue edge issue on 13 different iPhone 6S+s now. Some are better, some are worse but it's present on all of them.

I even looked at some iPad Air 2s in the store, they had it too. I think it's characteristic of these Retina displays.

I wouldn't swap out for a blue edge problem if you have a uniform screen personally. Screen uniformity or colour shift issues are much worse and you may end up with one if you swap.

I am fortunate to have a (mostly) pristine screen. Considering the lottery that is the replacement process, and that most display models in the Store have this issue (and worse), I think I'll actually keep this phone and wait for iPhone 7.

I have that dot on the bottom left. I couldn't see it so I took the screenshot, sent it to myself, and viewed it on my laptop.
Yup. It's there.
Now, since I don't see it on my phone's scree while I'm using it, it's a nonissue.
I understand wanting a perfect device. But for me, the dot is so imperceptible that it's effectively not there.
I've had to deal with such bad quality from other manufacturers that a practically imperceptible dot is nothing.
I'm happily using my iPhone 6s Plus and enjoying the daylights out of it.

Are you talking about 'the blemish'? That's not the same as the Blue edges issue jardinager is referring too.

You'd see it on a white background without any real examination. Its a 3mm blue outline around the edge screen - usually more prevalent on the right hand side of the screen.

I've yet to see any iPhone 6S+ without it. Even some iPad Air 2s have it.

I seriously can't see that on mine. I do have the binding at the top of the screen though and a very, very faint pressure point at the bottom left.

I was looking for that for days. It took me taking a screenshot and putting it on a laptop screen to see it.

As I mentioned I don't see this blue thing that people are discussing. And I'm not going to go looking for something that my naked eye, under normal use, can't see.

That's like hitting your head with a hammer and then telling the doctor it hurts when you hit your head with a hammer.

If I don't see this blue thing with my naked eye under normal circumstances, I'm not going to go looking for it.

I'm very disappointed with the iPhone 6S+ screen and the phone in general. While I love the new features, I've replaced it 4 times already and every each one of them had screen problems. Some were very obvious, while some more subtile, but every one of them had a blueish shading on the edge of the screen. Either on the right, or on the left. I've seen severe backlight bleed, turned off backlight and others. The last two had great lag on iOS 9.1 when unlocking and/or switching apps. Yesterday i wanted to take a picture and the camera app took about 3 seconds to load. The last one has a bad vibrator too. Either I'm extremely unlucky or the quality of the phones is very very VERY POOR for a 950€ phone.

I scored lucky on my 4th exchange.

I have owned the iphone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPad Mini, iPad Air 2, iPhone 6s Plus, and it is only with the iPhone 6s & iPad Air 2 that I have had to exchange a product. I had to go through 3 x iPad Air 2's & 4 x iPhone 6s Plus' before I got one which was relatively defect free. This is why I believe Apples quality control has declined. I did not suddenly become OCD o_O

Let's hope i'll be lucky too. I don't want to exchange it anymore...

That is the key in the bolded above, find one with one issue as opposed to three or four and consider yourself lucky...especially this year.

I agree. My first 6S had screen uniformity issues, with the top being much darker than the bottom. My current 6S has the blue edges, but I'm keeping it.
