Just thought I'd post a little PSA about a hazardous iPhone issue

Some of you may be familiar with a YouTuber by the name of iJustine who is an Apple fanatic who became famous back in 2007 when she recieved the "300 Page iPhone Bill" (see here - http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/300-page-iphone-bill)

Well today she posted a video describing how her Touch ID sensor has begun overheating to the point that it has burned her finger.

Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else!
(fully expecting tedious "burngate" comments)

I got up to the 2 minute mark before I wanted to stab my ears with a rusty paperclip.

Anyway ... It's a known issue that there are a few iPhone with potential mechanical problems causing the home button to get pretty toasty. Didn't read enough to see if it can reach up to pizza oven temps.

It's crazy how the only think y'all think about when you see this kind of video is about the money she makes.

She loves Apple and since a long time.

Everybody is talking about the iPhone 6s these days. She has a problem with it. Why wouldnt she make a video about it? It's like part of her job......

You're happy to earn money from your job, so stop being hypocrit.

She earns her money from youtube, you earn yours a different way. But if you were her you would just do what she does.

Totally right ... wish I could post something inane by adding 1 minute of useful info, while having the rest of it be of my cutesy dog and asking him questions, then go "tee hee" for the rest of the time, but that's just me. :p

Not to be a jerk but at 3:53, that was about 3:43 too long of a video. I admit, I clicked b/c of hot girl... but worthless, worthless video.

Please can someone advise here. My phone has done this daily at least once for the last 3 days - other than that it works flawlessly. I honestly not a time waster this is a real issue as I can miss calls or even worse not wake up to my alarm!

If this is a software issue I will wait it out but if its a hardware issue Apple have told me to send it back for a replacement and wait 2 - 4 days (which is extremely bad I think when their £620 phone isn't up to scratch)

Is there anyone skilled enough to tell me this COULD be a software issue or should I get it replaced?

To those who do have said problem, please place a tiny raw steak medallion and film it for YouTube. If this button is "literally burning", then you should have the world's smallest hot plate.

How can it even get that hot? Maybe it's the charger heating it up and there is a battery issue or something.

Mine isn't 'Burning' and it doesn't burn me at all but it is certainly warm when this happens. 5 seconds after a forced reboot and it nice and cool again.
