I just know its going to be a long weekend if it stays in "Preparing for Shipment" all weekend... LOL
Preparing to ship and card charged!
What a glorious afternoon this has become. So this helps numb the sting a little for not getting it on launch day... at least we won't have to see everyone opening their phones while perpetually in processing state.

My Rose Gold 128gb At&t is at 9/27-9/29 and says it'll ship out in 6-8 business days, wasn't charged full amount yet, but I think Apple charged sales tax onto my card. No updates though from "processing."
My Black 128gb At&t was originally 10/4-10/10 but has been moved up to 9/27-10/1. I didn't call or chat with Apple, it just happened automatically. It does say shipping out in 2-3 weeks so I'm a bit confused. Oh well, at least I'll be getting a bit sooner!

My charge just hit at about 2:30 Eastern and status is "Preparing to Ship"!! Woohoo.

No tracking yet and nothing on apple support profile
Date still shows delivery 9/27-9-29
I believe Apple only does that for the Launch Date deliveries. For my 6 I got the Shipping notification a couple hours after it was given to UPS and the phone was still in China.
As soon as anyone sees something in UPS, we better be the first to know!

Just charged (still showing "Still Processing" though) within the past 5 mins, delivery moved up a day to 9/26-9/28. If I'm being charged now I don't see it taking that long to delivery...right?

I heard in some other forums that the JB+ version for T-Mobile might be delayed even more than Att, bummer.
I am betting we have them next week.

The only email i got when my card was charged was from my bank who send me an alert of any charge for over $1000 hits my card. No email from Apple but suspect we will when they have a tracking number.
