128 Matte Black 7+ AT&T

Order changed to "preparing for shipping" on Thursday around 2 p.m. I've seen no movement since that time. It's no biggie since I am in the 27th-29th range. It's difficult to read all the shipping posts though!
Same here. Not sure what is going on. There are Oct dates that have tHe same phone same carrier and have shipped. I called apple and they were no help as expected.

My phone has now arrived to my local UPS depot, see attached - it went from China to my local area in one giant leap. Earlier today i requested to hold it there, so i'll pick it up on my way to work.

Very interesting!!!

In the same situation (tracking still showing it is in China, but delivery scheduled for 9/20). I chatted with UPS support and the agent asked if it was an iPhone. I said yes, and responded "Even if it's still showing in China, since this is an iPhone shipment, it will still be delivered on its scheduled date of Tues., Sept. 20." Some glimmer of hope for those of us stuck in China :)

I'm sorry if I sound like a downer, but if the packages still out at Zhengzhou, it's almost impossible to make it halfway around the world and get a phone delivered on less than 24 hours. UPS is almost always spot on with their tracking. And it takes ~16hrs to travel directly from HKG to NYC area. Now most UPS planes have 1 to 2 stops before making it to Louisville, KY. Then the package takes another flight to your state/city and then gets out for delivery? Nah', not tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong but at best we'll see our phones Wednesday, my money is on Thursday. This is without putting into consideration any US CBP delays and wx delays. Again, some might call me a pessimist, but I think I'm just being realist.

Bless you for this! Hope

When I chatted online with Apple, they told me that those October dates were not receiving phones. You would think that Apple has people who monitor all these forums to see what folks are talking about. Surely, they don't believe that we don't all talk to each other and compare status info. My takeaway from this ordeal is that Apple really doesn't care about the preorder crowd. They probably assume we are all diehard fans and won't jump ship no matter what they do. I'm pretty discouraged right now. I'm also a 7+ matte black ATT 128...confirmation email was 3:14 Eastern, went PFS on Thursday at 2:00 PM.

Ok, I departed Anchorage at 3:49 on UPS 99. Arrive in Louisville around 1:30am. If loaded right away, could still get to Tampa for delivery tomorrow.

My delivery date got moved back from tomorrow to Wednesday as well. No movement at all. Still sitting in ZhengZhou or whatever it is. Ordered att 7 plus matte black 246gb. Confirmation email sent at 2:18 CST on 9-9.

As soon as it shows an arrival scan at the distribution center you can head down there. The last two years I was in and out in less than 10 minutes

Ideally this is correct, however, I had an issue last year when I showed up right after the distribution center opened. My phone had arrived and been scanned along with all the others received during the night. But when I arrived I was told some packages had not yet been moved from the intake area of the facility to the distribution area. Essentially, I was told to come back in a couple of hours so they could move boxes across the facility. Not a big deal, but it was fairly annoying because I went out of my way to pick it up before heading to work. I had even received an email stating that it was ready to be picked up before I arrived. Long story short, if you're planning on getting there shortly after they open, it might be worth a phone call just to confirm that it's ready.

For the people who just had their phone show up in Alaska, did you ever have a departure scan from China? Mine is just sitting there. I'm wondering if I should just expect to see an Alaska scan next
Yes. I've had an arrival and departure scan from each location, including an Anchorage departure this afternoon.
