well some of you got out of korea and i'm still there (hoping for a missed scan on the earlier flight) will know soon (maybe)

so for those whose pkg's stuck in China, I hope this helps!
She's just telling you to wait. this helps no one as they are forced to do that already.

As for what the hell the package is doing: Each package comes off the assembly line, placed in a box, and a UPS label slapped on. Once this label is printed the "Origin scan" is uploaded to UPS and so it begins. Apple can't place your phone on the truck at that moment, they need to build up pallets and pallets of inventory so they can fill a truck/plane up. Thus you must wait for other phones to be made as well.

So my order got stuck in Kentucky last night and they said they rescheduled my delivery date for the following business day but had no delivery date estimate posted and now it is still seemingly stuck in Kentucky but the delivery date went back to the original tomorrow delivery. I think I will get it sometime between now and the end of time. I think.

This is exactly where mine is too, same status and shows delivery for tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I would say it most likely is a missed scan because there are no other flights out of Korea to Alaska that I can see...

Based on my tracking, it says mine departed ICN at 22:46. I believe this means my phone is on UPS flight 99 about to land in Alaska any minute. Anyone else on this plane? Think we have a shot at Wednesday delivery?

Heres what my UPS profile shows

What do you think the chances are of phones on that plane getting delivered tomorrow on the east coast?

Well, assuming that iPhones are on that plane, I'd say a pretty good chance. But since it's not a UPS flight, it may be a bit presumptive to say that it's chartered by Apple.

Well I got a late departure scan from Korea after that other plane was in the air so it's possible or just a late scan

I'd say it's a long shot, but UPS/FedEx definitely buy cargo space from other carriers when they need it. Who else do you think ships via Polar Cargo? :)
