This is so ridiculous. The amount of information available makes me so frustrated..but I can't help but continue to check tracking every hour. Still no departure scan from ZhengZhou.

Yeah, this is starting to get ridiculous. How do you 1) Have trouble with iPhones & Customs at this point in time. It's not like Apple is some small unknown shipping a few widgets on their first order. 2) How does a company specializing in logistics manage to lose track or whatever happened to many iPhones?

I just did a live chat with UPS and this was the response I received below.

Deri F.: Thanks for waiting. Your package is being held due to high volume of packages provided by the Shipper. We received more packages from this particular shipper than usual and your package will be shipped as soon as there is room in our containers. I'd recommend you to keep on monitoring your shipment on ups.com for further updates

Interesting! I was told this was definitely not the case when I talked to an Apple shipment rep at UPS. I wonder who is right haha...

i have no idea where mine is at, i just know it left Korea apparently. I still dont even have a delivery date!

Ah, you're in the lucky group that got our of Korea.

After close to 48 hours in China I appear to have missed planes out of Korea. I hope my phone's visit to Incheon is brief. While I'm still well ahead of my estimated ship date (the original 27-29 group), this Asian tour my phone is going on is getting old!

It doesn't make sense to me lol UPS usually handles launches well so you would think they would expect the high volume of packages for at least the first month if this is the case. Apple's website is showing Sept. 22nd delivery still and UPS changed from 9/20 to rescheduled so hopefully Apple's site could still be right.

I just hope to have my phone in the upcoming days, tomorrow would be awesome but that seems highly unlikely at this point

I agree. That's why I'm inclined to think it is because of customs, or a missed scan. But I'd place my bets on the former, not the latter.

unfortunately this is the status of my phone too.

Hello...I'm new here.

I guess I'm not going to be receiving my phone today either, even though the original UPS delivery date was the 20th. :(

UPS My Choice account still says delivery today even though the tracking info shows that it has been at the UPS ZhengZhou facility since Sunday and hasn't moved. I don't believe that UPS has a Star Trek transporter service just yet, so that pretty much rules out today or tomorrow seeing that UPS 99 departed about 7 hours ago. I can't get an answer out of any UPS reps other than "you'll just have to keep refreshing the tracking info". They have no delivery estimate or any useful information to provide.

This is after being up at 3:01am on the 9th to order the phone and having the store - in Safari and the app - not go live on my end until about 3:10, at which point the availability had already slipped. Adding to that frustration was Verizon's servers crashing which prevented me from being able to buy my first choice in a reasonable time-frame. By the time Verizon's servers came back online the Jet Black had already slipped to mid-November - even though I'm paying full retail, so I have no idea why Apple had to 'ask' the Verizon servers in the first place. I give them money and they give me a phone...shouldn't it be that simple?

I ordered the 7 Plus Black 256 which had a Sept. 27-29 estimate from Apple when I made the purchase. Then my bank decides to flag it as fraudulent large purchase and shuts down my card and freezes my checking account, so I have to phone Apple and reauthorize a different card and have my bank unfreeze my checking account and debit card.

Finally the phone ships over the weekend and now it's stuck in UPS purgatory for who knows how long. And to top it off, I head out of town this weekend.

This is my fifth launch-day iPhone purchase and this is by far the absolute the worst experience I have had all around, from Apple to the payment process and now shipping.

This matches mine almost to the tee!!

Doesn't make sense to me either. Basically she said that if there wasn't enough space on the plane from Korea to Alaska, they would not have left China in the first place. So those are the two reasons she gave me. I was on the phone with her for about 30 min, and she spoke with multiple people trying to figure out what was going on. So I don't think she was trying to give me an answer to get me off the phone. It sounded like she was really trying to help.

This is good info thank you!

Strange. I left Korea at 10:34pm and I still haven't been scanned into Alaska...

I'm thinking you might be on this flight....

EDIT: I apologize, I had my times confused. I have no idea why yours wouldn't show an arrival scan in Anchorage yet.

Why? My departure scan was 4 hours before the guy I quoted...
