Bit of an aviation nerd... so my phone is an excuse to geek out.

Flight with my phone from Anchorage (UPS 99) is currently in southern Indiana 25 miles from KSDF - Standiford Field in Louisville where UPS has a big operation. Flying on a MD-11 tri-jet, really cool knowing they still use that bird - I've always loved it.

Listening to ATC now and it sounds like they're doing more VFR landings tonight compared to ILS, must be some clear skies out there. Plane will be landing on runway 35L more than likely, possibly 35R.

This is fun. 🙂

Mines on UPS99 just landed in KSDF a short time ago. 🙂

Don't know whether it's going to be outbound for KBUR or KONT. UPS 914 or UPS 916. Maybe it'll stay until tomorrow night, but either way there's plenty of time to get here in SoCal.

Edit: it's 0200 PDT and Apple Store now shows "Shipped", pre-sign enabled. But, looks like its spending the night in KSDF. No updates at UPS showing departure scans at least.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned this. Sep 15-18 is Mid-Autumn Festival in China. All companies and factories are shut down for the holiday. Apple should have plan it better by releasing the new products after the holiday.

I just double checked and it appears that the 7 is actually .60 KGS and the 7 Plus is .50 KGS.

I think this came up last year... look, it's not so bad if we are all in the same condition.

We wanted to pre-order, and so we did. Demand is so high that within minutes some stock was completely sold out. There are a lot of people waiting in line at the stores, and won't get the model they want on the 19th...

We however, will get want we want - waiting for it, like sweet honey.

I like the Sector Pro cases from Element Case, but they always take a long time after a release to push their product out so I had gotten a Midnight Blue Leather case for my 6+ and loved it while I used it. So I am getting another for the 7+ plus, but almost thinking of a different color this time, until Element comes out with theirs, of course. 🙂
