128GB Matte Black + via Apple app, shipping in October 🙁
128GB Rose Gold + via apple upgrade program started out shipping on 9/16 then after 5 error message now shows September 22 🙁
 
Apple reps in my store said that if I ordered within 15min, I should be able to get it delivered on the 19th.
Well, the store didn't come up for me until 12:11 and then the my session through the checkout process quit a few times and had to start over again. When I finally got my Jet Black Plus 128GB to checkout, it said 18 Oct the earliest... And this was at 12:20!
The Store APP didn't come up until 12:18 for me.
This is CRAP! I stayed up for nothing and will still have to go wait in line next Friday morning.

ATT at it's best today.. I tried like 3 times there was always some kind of error but at att just loved in waited and boom ordered new iPhone that easy.

Ordered a black AT&T 128 on the app, went right through, delivers 9/16. Tried to order a jet black 256, both app and website kept erroring out. Finally got it to go through on the website, delivery not until 10/26 - 10/31.
 
I was able to grab a 256GB Matte Black (AT&T) with no issues. Too bad I have to wait an extra week for it 🙁 I could have gotten a 128 GB on launch day, but I need the extra space so I don't mind waiting a few extra days. Besides, my order says this:

Ships: 6-8 business days
Delivers: Sep 23 - Sep 27 by 2-3 Business Days

Does that mean that it could possibly SHIP 6-8 business days from TODAY? and MAYBE (just MAYBE...) arrive on my doorstep the morning of the 16th or the 17th? 😀 Or am I being too hopeful and should just prepare for a September 23-27th delivery? 😵

No, the errors were NOTHING to do with the carriers. This is my Bag emptying mysteriously, or Apple.com experiencing an error.
 
Just got the T-Mobile 128GB ip7 plus jet black, gonna use it with a clear case anyway so scratches or finger print won't be an issue
 
After reserving bc carrier was unavailable the reservation number finally worked on the site they provided to check the status. I chose to enroll in the iphone upgrade program. What does this mean as far as my shipping date???

I got there pretty early via the iPhone app, but the jet black 256 was already gone for in-store pickup. So I went with matte black (I probably prefer matte anyway, but was curious about the jet black as it might be grippier) and rose gold for the wifey.

Be careful with that. Their systems aren't as good as Apple's - years prior they showed delivery dates that were totally skewed until a day or two after, then they changed it on people.
 
The Apple Store App kept freezing during my checkout. So I ordered it from my iPad Pro. Now I have 2 jet black iPhones coming. One in 10/4-10 and the other 10/18. I hope I cancel the second order in a few hours. When Apple support opens.
 
  1. Snoozed through first alarm, actually woke up at 3:07 AM EDT
  2. Tried to order 1st choice 7 Plus (VZW) 256 GB Jet Black but shipping was way later than 9/16.
  3. Tried to order 2nd choice 7 Plus (VZW) 256 GB Black, shipping 9/16. Apple Store App was timing out.
  4. Switch to apple.com
  5. Prompted me to pay a past due balance (WTF I thought I paid my bill -- oops! Nope.)
  6. Pays Verizon bill
  7. Proceeds with order
  8. Gets email confirmation at 3:24 AM EDT with 9/16 ship date
  9. Check MRF
 
Ugh!!! I always forget that they go by the mailing address on att for shipping for the phones!!!! Since we have po boxes in my area apple wouldn't ship! By the time I got att billing linked with my work address shipping for the iPhone 7+ silver 128 go is now not until sept 27-29th!!!! Grrrrr!!!!
 
Should I be worried if I haven't got email confirmation or my card hasn't been charged. Had to try 3 times kept saying we have reserved iPhone until I got an order number.

Ships in 6-8 Days...Delivers Sept 27? I don't know what to believe.

No, for that to happen your order would have to ship in 2-3 business days tops.
