I ran into issues during my pre-order, so it was a bit delayed. I'm pretty bummed that 23mins equals a month wait. Hopefully that estimate gets reduced substantially (wishful thinking).

Estimated ship dates: October 14, 2016 - October 21, 2016

I opted for AT&T Next again, went through the questionnaire about sending my 6S Plus back.
Later that morning when I got my confirmation emails, I noticed they had charged me full retail price.
And somehow added me to a two year contract. Even though they no longer offer two year contracts.
I called AT&T immediately and they mentioned that they've seen this happen to a few other people.
They suggested I go into a retail store to get everything corrected.
What is strange is they're not showing any previous phone, or balance (installments) owned now.
So.... I'm just going to wait to see what happens.
 
Just checked UPS MY Choice, and it shows a delivery for Friday. My details: iPhone 7+ Gold, 128 GB ordered at the AT&T Store on 9/9 at around 9:15 am. I will post when I get further details.
 
Anyone get lucky like me today? I had issues with the Apple store on launch night so I didn't end up ordering the phone until 7AM PST through AT&T. 7+ Rose Gold with a ship date of Sept 26 through Oct 3. Bummed, but I was ok with it.

This morning I got a text saying my order has been shipped and tracking info says it's arriving Friday. Yayyyyyyy. I am so thrilled with AT&T.

Does anyone know whether or not we need to have someone sign for the package through UPS?

That was part of the joke.. they wouldn't put up with it. I know they can't give exact dates until they know what they are allotted, but they could be a little more transparent.

I don't ask for much, just a dedicated AT&T employee assigned to my order for me to be able to connect with via video chat 24/7 and a live video feed of my device as it leaves FOXCONN and makes its way to its destination. That or a simple email saying hey we know how excited you all are to get your hands on your new phone, here's what we know, here's what we've currently received. We expect these models to most likely arrive by Friday for most, some a week or two later, but these colors and configurations are expected to be delayed 2-3 weeks prior to anyone getting them from us, etc.

Some kind of update, that's all! :(

A kindred spirit. I spent the last month of my pregnancy waiting for my pre-ordered iMac G5 (now that was a pre-order! no actual launch date, no one knew exactly when they'd ship, it was so exciting and fun and frustrating!) i pre-ordered at the end of Aug/beg of Sept and my daughter was born on Oct 1st. In fact, the day the computer was FINALLY delivered I went into labor later that night. One of my favorite stories - not know if the baby or the computer would come first...

Working tonight, will be checking my status all night. Ordered at 3am exactly for a 7+ 128gb black, shipping dates 9/23-30, On preparing to ship since day 1.
 
come on at&t - thats a lot of phones to go through in one day to ship out - is this done manually?

My family has a family plan with five AT&T 5S's that we want to upgrade to 7's. What is the cheapest way to do so? Any good deals going on now? Thank you very much!

I'm going to be far less productive at work tomorrow than usual. I'm going to be checking these forums and checking my order status. Good thing my boss is also eagerly awaiting my new iPhone 7 so he can check it out and decide if he wants to get it.

there isn't really a cheap way, no matter what you'll likely pay retail price for the phone , just go to the store and ask
 
Ugh. Still nothing, jet black 128 plus with oct14-21 preparing to ship. Birthday hits in 15 minutes, all I wanted was a tracking number. Last time I order through AT&T for my upgrade.
