Alright, lets do this. Made a throw away so I don't lose my job. I still won't give away exact numbers because they can tell which store is which by inventory.
AT&T retail sales manager here. Got some inventory in yesterday and expecting more today. For those of you wanting to camp in line, I probably wouldn't recommend it unless you want a 32GB Rose Gold or Matte Black. Or Some 256GB Matte Black. Not one 7 Plus in yesterday. That could change today, but I'm very much doubting it at this point. No other colors but rose and matte black yet on the 7's.
I'm also one of you who pre ordered at 3:01am sharp for a 128GB matte black 7 Plus with 0 movement on my order. So no, we don't get special treatment either lol.
Hopefully we'll see a lot more phones today, or it's going to be a long, long weekend for my staff and I. We are one of the highest volume stores in our market, so we usually get a ton of phones in.
On a positive note, the matte black is very, very sexy.

Update for you guys. Just got my last shipment of the day from both FedEx and UPS... Not. One. Plus. There's no store in our entire district that got a Plus. I'm actually really surprised.
We did get a bunch more 128GB in all colors except Jet Black. But wow I'm really shocked this year that we got no Pluses in. This weekend is going to be interesting.
i'm east coast too -- florida. ordered the ip7+ 128, still waiting for some good news!I'm interested in mainly people getting 7+ Matte black 128s responses (but others feel free to chime in), where are most of you located? I'm east coast and was able to preorder before 3 am ET. I'm wondering if the region may have anything to do with the way in which people are receiving their shipment details?
They're very likely speaking in terms of making an order today, not when you ordered back on 9/9.
Pay attention, folks! If news reports of legitimate repute are saying that certain models are sold out, I'd wager they'll be sold out for at least the next week for those not on preorder. I don't know this, I'm merely inferring based on what the anonymous store manager here is saying as well as how logistics and device availability works.

Trust me, you're not alone. I preordered a matte black and a silver plus 128 and I've seen people with both kinds of phones ship but I'm still sitting one "preparing to ship"
I don't see how they could have certain models available in the store in upcoming weeks with models being backordered almost into December. ughhhh I'm holding onto hope that it would at least come by the end of next week if not tomorrow.. this is my second order after my first one failed that had Sept 23 - Sept 30th delivery dates

Finally got my shipping notification. Both text message and email. Delivery is handled by UPS which is unusual.
I live in upstate New York. Don't know if it can make it tomorrow. Overnight delivery seems too expensive for att.
So hang in there. Don't lose hope.

4:56 AM EST and that was after the first order was canceled because of a "processing issue". First order was at 3:03 AM - and then it was moved up one hour to 2:03 AM according to the cancelation order status.
Just got shipping confirmation for my i7+ matte black 256GB from FedEx! There is hope originally had 9/23-9/30 ship date will post screenshot when I get home
