I'm in a bit of a pickle. Trying to decide if I need to be home from work to sign for package but I'm getting two different delivery dates.

iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black, ordered at 03:03:47AM ET with 09/23-09/30 shipping estimate. Finally got tracking around 8pm despite first scan around 6:51pm

Email from AT&T and FedEx tracking page both say 09/16/2016 by 8pm. Whereas, my text notification set up with FedEx alerted me to a rescheduled delivery date or 09/17/2016 (Saturday)!

The thing that frustrates me the most is that I took the day off of work to preorder my black 7+ 128gb specifically so I would be able to get up at 3am and make sure I got a launch unit. I'm off this Friday and going out of town Monday so this super sucks.

If anyone has Instagram, do yourself a favor and do not look up the #iphone7plus. Europe is getting theirs and it will really break your heart to see all of those phones... some things cannot be unseen

Most people who have shown "back ordered" and had their card charged again said their phone shipped shortly after.

I'd rather have SOME sort of update instead of "preparing to ship" since 3:00am on Friday the 9th.

Check flightaware. Even then it's hard to know for sure if the plane is carrying phones.

So i called a couple stores.
First store said -we don't give that out, we have very little quantities. And if you want the jet black - we'll see what we can do for you -

Second store said he has no jet blacks coming in. Not sure about any pluses. His store is getting another shipment tonight. Most stores are opening at 8am tm. And if you go to a store tm the most they can do is tell you what is en route to the store. But they wouldn't know when exactly they will arrive. And they don't hold anything for anyone

So basically the tactic is to call and try and zero in on a shipment. Then being there at the right moment.

Now comes the question.... Do I ditch my 7 128 JB order and go for matte black?
