Yeh those 9 flights landing in Louisville from 12:30 to 2am I HIGHLY doubt will make it to anyone on Friday. The UPS/Fedex trucks get loaded up fairly early and are out by 7 to 8am as I understand it. There isn't enough time to unload and sort before trucks go out.

High possibility Monday for all of those phones though. If all 9 are loaded with phones that's anther million phones or so.
Agree and would only add a small caveat that there is another logistic delivery wave that FedEx often employs (using smaller trucks-vans) that might catch a slow arrival to the local hub. Which in theory could get rolled into a Friday delivery. But as you point out even that window is closing quickly.

Sorry man. It's just a placeholder IMEI. Typically, newer iPhones start with the same two numbers (not 0's), which I think is an Apple identifier.

Then again, I probably have no idea what I'm talking about, lol. But for sure if it starts with 0's, it's a placeholder until your phone actually ships. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(
Thanks for the info. I didn't know what it was about.

As a bit of an anecdote, this reminds me of the absolute nightmare that was trying to land a Playstation 4 during the holiday season in 2014 (I never preordered an iphone before). It took some shenanigans through use of nowinstock.net and an automatic webpage refreshing extension on chrome to land one of those through Amazon. Could not find a single console anywhere in stores and hundreds of people were battling amazon when they would have between 5-10 in stock periodically.

Thats the ATT payment plan number starting in a bunch of zeros. This is my third one and all started with zeros. Nothing to do with a phone assigned to it or not.

The flights are irrelevant. I am sure they have Iphones on them, but AT&Ts just come in batches on those aircraft and make their way to their facility. Your phone specific phone may or may not be on it. If you get shipping tonight, it's a phone they already have that they are still working through the processing for. That's why often peoples tracking have scans from before the tracking was even assigned to their phone.

IP7+ black 128 9/23-9/30, ordered at 9/9 2:58a EST here. Just hopeful I wake up with tracking as I've seen people get them this late.

Well they're irrelevant in terms of delivery tomorrow anyway. It's too late now to make it landing in Louisville as late as 2am for delivery on trucks tomorrow morning from you local hubs. I seriously doubt they can get them local that fast; under 6 hours.

Likely Monday for any of those planes that have iphones. But considering coming from Alaska means coming from China so good chance loaded with iphones.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen people get tracking the day of delivery. I would think if we get tracking tonight/tomorrow morning we'll have our phones on Monday.

So the installment plans start with 28000000... or 16/700000. But I've never seen an Apple IMEI start with 2 0's. Recenty Apple products have been 35. But I'm only going off of a small demographic.

Thanks for the input though.

It's come as late as 1 or 2am if the phones were already shipped earlier in the day. They just dont update the status when you're talking that much volume being pushed around.

If you look people got their tracking by email this evening for phones shipped back at 10-11am by the tracking. It's that far behind

Amazon is the same way. I've gotten shipping notifications after 12am for stuff overnighted and I get it that day. Anyone of our phones could be shipped right now and we don't even know at the moment.

You're right because I noticed my other iPhones started with 35. Thanks again for the info. Trust me my phone isn't suppose to ship til late October. Haha!! That's all I can do is laugh

I received a shipping notification from Amazon for an Apple Watch band after it had already been delivered. This was Wednesday. Lol

No problem brother, I know this stuff all too well now. :) I do have an unfair advantage. I may or may not work for one of the devilish telecommunications companies that are the highlight of this thread that are royally pissing off me and a number of other people in this alleged thread. Maybe. I might just work at Wendy's. ;)

I've been keeping up with this thread all day, and it's really helped me manage the roller coaster of emotions that release day eve causes. I've seen people who ordered the exact same phone as I did (128 GB matte black 7 Plus) at a later time than I did get their shipping notices, so I'm going to try not to lose hope. Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow with a shipping notification. Thanks for all the conversation! It's been fun.

story time: I went into ATT store and asked if i could just grab a phone tomorrow morning and if theres a phone i want in stock and i could just cancel my order and pick one up... they said no because i have to cancel my preorder 24 hours prior. So thats a let down for a lot of people asking if they can do that on a whim

I called ATT customer care and they told me that what the store said is true. So after i kept talking to the person they said my ship dates were October 14 - 20th (which means they got pushed up) but on my side it says November 18-28th. I have no idea where they are getting this from so obviously some numbers are mixed up. Im never ordering from ATT again.

(I pre-ordered 11 minutes after it went live, so that order time is wrong for some reason)

Someone could call me out on this, but I'm calling their bluff. If an associate made that claim to me (a 24 hour notification on cancel -- what is this -- a doctor's office?), I'd politely but aggressively ask why that is.

But I know that all Jet Blacks and Pluses are completely sold out, so I'll stay in preorder line :)

Mine:
2 IP7+ BLK 256GB, ordered 9/9 8:30am/12:30pm ET, 9/23-9/30
