Oh well, it'll get here when it gets here. Spoke to an AT&T rep and he seemed to indicate that your physical location is a factor moreso than your order time as far as getting your device. Not putting a lot of faith in their words though. Black 128GB 7+

It very well could be, UPS/Fedex may want a bundle of them together to come out of ATT's Dallas warehouse to go to one general area where their local hub is.

But still, update the tracking. If it's the 22d this week, great, tell me now! Some of us cannot be home 24/7 and have to work! And ATT forced most of us to use our billing address, and couldn't change it, which is likely home.

Better to know early than 12 hours before showing up.

Lol!!! Oh man, you have no idea. I spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get the order uncancelled. Finally they reordered it and did an override on the shipping dates. They gave me my original delivery dates.

At least they got ONE thing right... thats good you got your spot back

Very Similar boat! Im actually north of Austin in the Wells/Pville area. Just trying to see if our area as a region has even seen movement for + MB models.. seems we haven't..

I camped out at walden park near lakeline and they didn't get a single matte black plus. On the way home I stop at the AT&T store on 1431 and they did have some. Sold out though. FML!

If it makes anyone feel better my my 128gb MB just shipped today and will be at my house Monday before 3pm through fedex

Ordered 3:21 am 9/9 and was preparing to ship from beginning until now.

Honestly I would rather see that change then preparing for shipment. I think preparing for shipment is atts way of saying back ordered. And when they say back ordered they mean shipped.

I just checked both online and text. Same thing as always. Preparing for shipment. And in progress. 128 + MB

Just checked mine online "in progress" did the text and it says back order. 7+ silver

I originally ordered a JB 7 128GB and my shipping date was Oct. 14-21. I cancelled that order yesterday and re-ordered a Silver 7 256GB and it's already shipped out and is expected to be delivered Monday. The color wasn't that big a deal to me either.

Yeah they are really screwing things up, don't feel bad, I'm happy people are finally getting notifications, just pissed at how ATT does their supposed first come, first serve orders, it's complete ********, they're lying to us. I tried 4 different departments, no one could tell me why it hasn't shipped, they're complete morons, even retentions departments are idiots. Not happy with ATT right now.

I'm in the same boat. Except mine in 24 hours later when I actually submitted the order. Very frustrating.

I don't understand why other carriers have shipped 256 matte pluses but non on AT&T.

Omg. I am sitting here watching some College Football...Nebraska vs Oregon.. checking/reading the forum and what comes on.....this ATT commercial.

I almost threw my current iPhone into the TV (it's time to upgrade that too so don't worry).

Thankfully I remembered my order is Still processing and shipment estimated 9/23-9/30 . So in the end TV is safe and so is my older iPhone...for now. Thanks ATT.

How is back order a good sign? That means they are waiting on phones and don't have them in stock. When the first 6 plus came out there were a lot of back orders and there shipping dates that came and went and they still didn't have their phones. I am confused as to how this could be a good sign.

Hmm - I ordered 2 7+ Silver 256GB just after 3AM on the 9th... both have said preparing to ship for a week now, one is from 9/22 - 9/29 and the other is 9/23 - 9/30. I just called *6737# and they both now say backordered... but when I check the web they still say preparing to ship. I guess something is happening at least!

I'm getting super pissed. Where in the hell is the 7+ 256's in Matte Black at!!!!!! WTF ATT!!!! Same thing for over a week. Order manager says Preparing to ship, Order Status summary says Processing and Pending Shipment. Text message says in progress. No movement, no back order nothing but agony and a unicorn with dead hopes. Other carriers have shipped out this version but AT&T seems to be not getting any allocations of this phone.
