Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Does anyone have any update on Jet Black Pluses? I placed an order signing minutes of the opening, but I was delayed to Mid-October :(. Even showed mid-October like the minute the website opened, even b4 I placed my order...
 
My 128 gb silver 7 plus (at&t) delivery date was just moved up to deliver this Thurs 9/22. It was originally 9/27-29 when ordering on 9/9 around 3:30 EDT.

edit - UPS tracking says it will deliver on Tues 9/20

The 256 gb black 7 plus that I ordered from Sprint around 11pm on 9/9 still shows deliver 9/23-30 with no ship confirmation. I'm trying out switching to Sprint because
  1. It's a step backward for AT&T phones to be incompatible with CDMA and hurts the resale value
  2. Sprint is leading the charge to slash the rates the leading cell providers are charging by halving my AT&T rate
  3. I'll take the $650 trade in subsidy for my wife's iPhone 6

this is what's unfair...people who ordered after me getting shipping before me...i ordered at 3:40am for the same phone. and it didn't help that i was one of the ones who got in right at 3 and then ATTs site gave me **** and i couldn't do anything for a half hour. i'm salty.

The wife's silver 128gb 7+ is now back ordered! Finally something lol ordered hers after the colossal %#}*up on ATT systems on 09/11/16 around 1pm and with the update just now I assume its coming soon. Original ship window was Oct 7th thru the 14th

Original ship estimate: 9/23-9/30
"Backordered" via text notification and "preparing to ship" via ATT website as of this morning

Just received notification that it is shipping via UPS

Agreed, getting tired of seeing 7 Plus MB 128 ordered after me shipping.

Ordered 3:01 EDT and still preparing to ship.

7 Plus MB 128 going to the Washington state.

What a bs situation and I will never order from ATT again.

My MB ip7+ 128GB preorder ordered 9/9/16 3:04am ct (9/23-9/30 shipping dates) went to backordered yesterday at some point and was that way all day and night until 7:13 am this morning I got a shipping email. It's coming by Fed Ex and is supposed to be here by Tuesday at 4pm. I'm in NE Arkansas. BTW yesterday the website order status was still preparing to ship all day but the *6737# was giving me backordered all day.

Well, the impossible happened, My Iphone 7+ Black 128 gb Shipped!, Ordered 9/9 @ 10:15 am ET. Mine was stuck in the 'Preparing to Ship' (9/23-9/30 window) Hell since preorders began, but moved to backordered yesterday ( only via *6737#, all other methods still showed preparing to ship. Was emailed tracking number today .. Good luck to the rest of you..

But when I check the website I get "preparing for shipment" and it's been like that since 9/10. Meh. Nothing new over here

I ordered my 7+ MB 128GB with a timestamp of 3:06 (order completed ~ 3:15) am EDT and still have had no update on the website and I can't dial *6737# because I can't connect to the damn network. I guess I get to spend my morning with 45 minutes on hold before I can talk to someone at AT&T.

FWIW, I haven't seen too many west coasters posting shipping notifications, so it seems like we're kinda getting screwed out here. Played around with the demo 7+ at Best Buy yesterday and picked up my otterbox and screen protector so I can be ready. Definitely gonna take some getting used to not having a home button.

Well, I called to AT&T's tech service and spoke to a pretty helpful woman. I swapped SIMs between mine and my girlfriend's phones and it appears my 6+ just doesn't want to connect to AT&T's network any more. She also said that it looks like my mom (she's the account holder) has been sitting on an email that she needs to forward to me since the 9th :mad: It would've been nice if AT&T would have let me enter my email as the contact for this order.

That's good news, maybe they'll starting shipping to SE Mo soon
 
On launch day I walked into the AT&T store that I frequent, they take good care of me. Wanted a 7+ 128 jet black, but they said there was already a 55 day wait for it, and only a 20-25 day wait for the matte black. Paid off the last few installments and ordered it in-store.

My shipping status shows Pending with a shipping date of Oct 21 to Oct 28, which is fine. I get to spend the final days with my now-inferior 6+.

Dude I'm in the exact same boat. It's got me thinking it might be weeks before we see any movement on that front. We just gotta hold it down and keep faith. The struggle is real. ;(
