I gotta watch some NFL before I go LOL. But thank you for that heads up!! I canceled my preorder through AT&T just now. Easily too so I know there was no phone for me on their end. So sad AT&T... You've pissed off one too many people this year.... So much for FIFO!! My order was completed at 12:47PM PDT and tons of people who ordered after me already have their phones in hand! Like what happened?? Good luck to everyone still waiting for theirs! I know your pain!
Just got shipping notice on 2 matte black 128gb 7 Plus iPhones. Ordered at 2:20 am CST on 9/9. I got the same backordered status yesterday by text lookup that other people got. Does anyone know how quick these will deliver? Do they usually overnight them? I'm wondering if I need to stay home tomorrow. Hopefully the UPS tracking number will update with a delivery date soon.
Ah, not I. Not for the privilege to pay $5 more per month for AppleCare and have to go to the physical store next year in that upgrade debacle; not after the way the IUP people got screwed this year either.

No, neither of my phones shipped, but Fedex finally allowed me to sign up for Delivery Manager with my new address. They tried to give me some bull about you can't use it if you have moved within the last year (don't a lot of "millennials" move every year?) but today finally it gave me the verification questions. But then two of them asked who had lived with me and who had been associated with me and literally none of the names I recognized and unlike other identity verifications it didn't give a "None" option. I just selected at random for those two and it let me sign up. This is a victory, right? Right? Ah where are my phones!

As you don't live in Austin, I don't think it's your phone. Maybe their order number matches your phone #. Or it's some other package with the order number or account number that match. Tracking by reference isn't really that reliable.
I have only posted a few times here. My ATT iPhone 7 plus 256 GB Silver shipped just now. Ordered 9/9 9:52 am original shipping dates 9/23-9/30. Phone shipped via FEDEX. Order was in back order status most of the afternoon yesterday and this morning.
Now that I look at it further, it appears that the phone is scheduled to arrive in TX on Monday. Then, I hope it is scheduled to leave there and get to me. Maybe not?!?! It's really weird that this notice is linked to my phone number. Not sure what to think now!!!

I was mad, upset, pissed, salty, frustrated, you name it! I hate how AT&T DID NOT go by FIFO. Especially for peeps that stayed up/woke up for that sole purpose...

I just checked my status using *6737# and it's went to back ordered. I'm hoping it's like the others and means it's been shipped. Mine was ordered 9/9 with shipment date of 9/23-9/30 7+ 256gb Rose Gold. My location is Western Ky.
