Ordered a Iphone 7+ Black 256G. One email says I ordered at 0303cst and the confirmation screenshot I took from my AT&T online order says 0310cst. Anyone else order the same set up around the same time and get the date of the 16th for arrival?

I presently have a ship date of 09/23/2016 To 09/30/2016.

I ordered a matte black 7+ yesterday afternoon and I have an October 7-14 estimated ship day, but it says "preparing to ship."

Does that mean I'll get the phone earlier than the ship date, or does it always say that right after you order it?

Ordered the same configuration Saturday afternoon and it is still showing "In Progress". Ordered the 128gb matte black 15 minutes later and it shows "Preparing to ship" with delivery 10/7-10/14, so who knows.
My 32 gb just moved to Preparing to ship. Still shows same 10/7-10/14 ship date. Credit card not yet charged but feeling pretty good about receiving Friday!

Ok so I know someone on here has already spoken it let me repeat it for him because I looked into it myself and its legit. You're going to have shipping dates going into october mine is Sept 30 - oct 7 (iphone 7 plus jet black 256gb). Last year and the years prior they will update and send tracking info probably wednesday or thursday of this week. Those expected shipping dates will move up or stay the same but they'll have sent you tracking info. alot of people had tracking info but the expected delivery on the order status site still said mid october but tracking number showed delivery date as launch day. At&t has not set any anticipated dates for the launch date because they don't want to disappoint. trust me I'm eager as well for thing to hurry up and update and tell me my phone is shipped. but we will be going back and forth about this until wednesday or thursday when things start moving along.

iPhone 7 plus
128 gb (regular) black

why won't my date change! ugh lol

I have the same date range that you have.

You would be the first with a Plus in either black shade color via ATT's site with a 16th date.

At least that anyone is saying on Macrumors.

Yes my mistake everyone. I ordered using the Apple app. Sorry for the confusion.

Honestly I'd be ok if my phone came at the end of September. I had to preorder my case and it won't be here till maybe the first week of October. :p

Truth is about 3 minutes before launch att website was partially loading. For the 7plus 128 gb black was already showing the 23 as the ship date before launch 12:01am
I got in early too but was kicked back to the countdown page, I saw the Silver 256GB 7+ had Sept 23 as ship date also, so I don't think the Silver had a Sept 16 date. I'm confident, but not 100% sure, we will get the phones Friday.

The post on page 28 eases my mind a bit about the process, I didn't know they go from China to ATT. and sits for a few days till shipped out. Hopefully we get tracking numbers by Wednesday.

Same ship date, just a Silver 256GB, ordered at 12AM PST/3AM EST according to the page that says Preparing for Ship, but I remember it being 3:04 AM EST/12:04 AM PST when I got to the confirmation page on ATT.com, didn't get the order number confirmation until like 3:17AM, and the We got your order for 2 hours at like 5:30AM ish. My card has been charged, it's pending, or pre-auth as it's called on my Bank account, Idk if that means I am lucky and will get it Friday, hoping I do, and I'm hoping everyone here also gets it on Friday.

just throwing this out there, maybe mine was a fluke. but last year I ordered a 6S plus in silver 16gb at 3:07am from at&ts site (they opened preorders around 2:45-2:50am est last year) and I got my phone the Wednesday after launch.

I'm sorry I just want to be realistic. I was pissed last year to get it so late.

the flip side was it was a week early from the dates they gave me.

I wake up in the middle of night and wait for the magic time every year only to find out some other channel offered preorders 20-30 minutes earlier than ****** AT&T

Just because I was curious, I looked at my 2014 order of a 64GB iPhone 6 and I ordered at nearly the exact time 03:06AM ET.

Received order confirmation in 30 minutes with launch day DELIVERY indicated: Sept 19 2014. The estimated SHIPPING dates were 09/17/2014 to 09/18/2014. I received the phone on the afternoon of the 19th. Check it out.

I know it's Apples and oranges but if the dates aren't bumped up by middle of next week I don't think anything is coming to us before our estimated SHIPPING ranges. I hope I'm wrong

I'm not understanding your theory.

I was curious to see how the described the shipping and delivery process and how they correspond to dates. Thy made a clear distinction between expected delivery and when the item would ship. Shipping dates clearly before delivery. Not the case this time. No expected delivery except for garaunteed 09/16 deliveries. Just a shipping window. No theory, just an observation. I suppose my theory would be, if the past experience is anything to go by, I would believe my phone will ship between 09/23-09/30

Of course, I'm hoping I'm wrong or that things improve where my order gets moved up. Currently just going by what's written, literally.

I was looking earlier and see there's a hold on my CC instead of a confirm executed charge. Unless that charge comes through, I'm more apt to believe my Oct 7-14th delivery.

Same way I feel. They seem to have run out of black (not jet) ones 256 in only 15 minutes.
