Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

I would think that could be due to the fact that it's still the weekend. A lot of transactions don't clear until the week

That's cool if it's really a charge and not a hold. My card shows the amounts as pending which is just another way to say "hold" meaning at&t hasn't actually charged it yet. Hoping to see that converted to an actual charge this week sometime.

oh yeah it's a hold - my fault.
 
AT&T says they do not actually charge the card until the phone ships. Everything else is just a hold to reserve the funds.

Exactly… When your credit card gets charged has zero bearing on your shipping date. Rightfully it should never get charged before it's on its way out the door. Unless it's tax for NEXT.. I think that can sometimes get charged early..

And don't get confused my a tracking number TOMORROW .. That is likely only you box to ship back last years phone.. for NEXT upgrade..

Well I am hoping I get a tracking number tomorrow. I'm not trading in my phone so I'm not expecting a box to ship a trade in back.

I didn't place my 128GB Silver iPhone 7 order till approximately 1:30 AM 9/10/16 and still have a delivery date of 9/16. I suppose this just means the Silver is not in such high demand as the black & jet black. I also ordered the Apple leather case through my employer's Apple portal which gave me a whopping $4 off. IMO the Apple leather cases simply fit better than the myriad of cases available currently. Everything is scheduled to arrive 9/16/16.

Where did you find that AT&T is offering $650 for a 6+? I just did the trade in and I was offered $200
 
I ordered 7 Plus 128 Jet Black at 4:00am Pacific and have a ship date of Oct 30-Nov 4. I've thought about it all weekend and am strongly considering cancelling the order, and sticking with my 6s Plus until next year. Way too long to wait and the new toy lust has faded.

Lol, if you think the drama this year is bad, just wait til next year. This year lots of people said they weren't upgrading because no redesign, no headphone jack, etc... Next year, all new design, OLED, lots of other new things, preorders will be crazy cause everyone will want one.
 
Like I said, ATT seems to give the least order updates and is the slowest at giving ANY order details. Just my opinion coming from always preordering from Apple.

I wonder if the "no headphone jack, no iPhone for me" crowd will be over it by the time the 8 is announced.
 
Has anyone confirmed that AT&T's free iPhone 7 with trade in can taken advantage of in store on Friday? I'm considering canceling my order and just getting the phone in store on Friday.
 
Question, for those who've preordered an iPhone in the past few years through ATT, do they come straight from China? I've never pre-ordered an iPhone, so I'm clueless on where they come from.

I actually like the current design, I was upgrading only if they made a 256GB version, since they did, I chose to upgrade, I probably won't upgrade next year, if I do, I'll go through Apple.com then.

mine has always shipped out of Tennessee... Could not remember my log in from last Sept
