Ok Movement! Can't say when back order happened because I haven't checked some of these in a couple days, I had only been checking the earliest one. Shows that there is no rhyme or reason how they are shipping these. All of these phones were ordered on the same Premier account, shipping to the same address. Checked status for all both online and 6737.

Well I hope you get some movement soon. I'll be honest I wanted that Jet Black SOOOOO bad but when I saw the order times vs the times on the Matte Black I went with MB. I'm really glad I did. Seeing the MB they just look so damn sexy to me! Haha, can't wait to get that phone delivered and mess around with it. Those Jet Blacks do look so smooth though. Just worried about the scratching that everyone is up in arms about. I'm in Pueblo, btw.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Dialed *6737# and typed in '3' (i.e., Order Number), which gave me a message saying that "we were unable to retrieve order details with the information provided."

However, when I dialed it again and selected '1' (i.e., Wireless Number), it shows up as "in progress."
 
Just got an email from AT&T with subject "Information about your AT&T plan." The email just told how to access my AT&T account. I haven't made any changes to my account. Does this email have any significance?

Not really. I received that e-mail shortly after I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 Plus two years ago and my phone didn't arrive until September 25th or 26th (10-11 days after that e-mail was sent).

I bought a clear gloss wrap that covers the whole phone! Haha I want that jet black bad haha I work in the oilfield and I know if I don't protect well enough that it's gonna get beat up pretty bad haha that's why I bought the wrap

Basically the conversation didn't go anywhere it hadn't gone before. I was told nothing was wrong with my order and that it was "processing" on their end and he said just to wait for that shipped email. He said it should be too long before it ships
 
I sure my phone is on one of them planes I'm so tired of waiting 7 plus mb 128gb

Do not give up!! The only way I would say yes cancel your AT&T Order is if, and only if, you have an iPhone 7 Plus in the configuration you want at a local store. Do not settle for the 7. If you want the plus, you will absolutely regret getting the regular 7. I thought about it myself. My local Best Buy, AT&T, and others have had the 7s in since launch day but the only thing that woulda got me to cancel was the iPhone 7 plus in 128 or 256 in Gold, Matte Black, or Jet Black.

Before Apple launched the iPhone 7 I finally decided it was time to start going Gold. So my iPad Pro is Gold (which is absolutely beautiful by the way) and I had plans of getting the iPhone 7 in Gold but then they launch 2 black phones and I was like nope sorry Gold!! But I woulda caved for a Gold if I had the chance to get it sooner.

Enough of my rambling.. Please do not take yourself out of line. I know it sucks! But if you truly want the plus, you'll kick yourself for getting the 7.

Same problem. Have just been using option 1 due to simplicity, but ran into the same problem when I tried it. Also for some reason I have two order numbers for 1 order so maybe that is playing a part in the confusion.

Huh. Well that's certainly odd! Have you talked to AT&T about that?
 
It's kind of frustrating knowing I ordered at 11:58PM (7 plus jet black 128gb) and my phone still hasn't shipped. I'm sure others that ordered after me have had theirs shipped by now...

They said it was "due in part to the method in which you ordered." Whatever that means. Both order numbers work to find it online however, but trying to find info using *6737# yields nothing unless I use option 1 to use my phone number and zip code. I just have to be patient...:(
 
Is anyone else annoyed at the fact that all delivery options for FedEx are greyed out? I'm trying to go in a bit later if I can but truth be told if no ones home when the phone delivers I want it to at least go in our parcel lockers... knowing fedex they're just gonna leave a slip...

For everyone who is still waiting and remotely thinking about reserving online and picking up in store... do it before it goes into back order or else you'll be stuck like me. Don't cancel anything until you're in the Apple Store, make sure you see the phone you reserved then try to cancel it there in person. I'm glad I did that because my order was shipping right as I was there and there was no way for me to cancel my order already...
 
Go by the *6737#. AT&T's website doesn't update as often as the phone/text does. Plus I found some of my old posts on here from two years ago and apparently it said "Backordered" for me via phone and it didn't update on the website.
I hope your right! Although I will say I'm trying not to get excited because I've heard people say they were on back order for days also. So how have people been getting there tracking nbrs through email or text?
