Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Two of the six UPS planes that are due to arrive in Louisville around midnight to 1:00am are MD-11s. Then the one set to arrive tomorrow morning around 9:00am EDT is also a MD-11 plane.
I'm not sure what that entirely means, but someone who was in this forum (before they got their phone) mentioned that those are the planes we should be paying attention to.
Would anyone happen to know why that is? And does it even have any significance?

You would need one of the people that preordered with apple to verify they have a phone on that plane, you could then for sure know its carrying apple product. Also they may not be full of iPhones but also other cargo.
My 7+ 256GB Black just shipped! Ordered on 9/12 and was originally expected 10/10-10/17.
check this crap out....att has the new plans where data is unlimited, after you use your gb they slow you to 2g speeds but no overage charges. Wanted to change my plan but unfortunately i can't because i have to activate my device. currently on my 4th overage pack of 1gb(60$) smh not paying that!

Yea it's crazy how we haven't seen as much as a backorder today! You'd think monday would produce a little more.
I got my shipping notification today! Although the tracking info isn't loaded yet. I ordered a 256 Silver + on 9/16 @8:34AM in store. I went into back order status sometime on Saturday.
Call and say you're dropping the plan (in a nice way of course!) and get to a retention person. If you ask nicely, they may even be able to backdate your plan switch to the new Advantage plan and eliminate those overages for you!

Tip: Start tracking planes from Louisville to AT&T's fulfillment center in Dallas. This will give you a better idea

Please tell me how you ordered at exactly the opening time!! Saw your order said 1:00:00AM ET... That's like the second it opened in your time zone, right? ....but I thought it was 3:00:00 ET when it opened.... Nevertheless how did you order it at exactly 1:00:00AM?

When I switched to that plan, the rep even promised that I could call mid-month and change plans, and they'd do it retroactively (such as if we exceeded our limit and wanted to increase the monthly allotment.) One caveat to that, every time you change plans, you lose last month's rollover data (if you had any).
