Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

My 7+ 256GB Jet Black arrived last night.
Spent a couple hours restoring my icloud backup.
Here's a helpful hint for anyone running the iOS 10.1 Beta.
Set up as a new phone without restoring, then update the new device to 10.1 beta, then restore.
Otherwise, the backup from the previous device running 10.1 beta is not compatible with the 10.0.1 running on the new device.
While I haven't put it through any intense load, no hissing noise so far. <Whew!> Was afraid I'd have a defective phone after waiting all this time to get it.
And glad I waited for the Jet Black rather than cancel to pick up a MB.

Now just waiting on the two 7+ 128GB Jet Blacks to arrive.

Oh, and for those wondering about the new home button. The closest thing I can relate it to, is that it feels like the old blackberry storm click screen. (Even though it's not physically clicking like the storm did). Make any sense at all?

Got my shipping notice at 2:45AM EDT this morning. FedEx had this shipping info at 4:36AM EDT. Even though I ordered through AT&T (can't remember if this was a website or app order as I was doing both) the phone is shipping from Memphis and should be here tomorrow (Thursday).

Now the wait continues for my other phone to ship (not that I expect it for a little bit yet).

Got shipping notice from ATT at 8:45 last night, JB 7+ 128 ordered 9/9 6:38 ET, 3767 went to backorder 10 am 9/27, original ship date oct. 14-21, Fedex says delivery today

Still waiting for a shipping text I've seen lots of order dates of 9/11 and 9/12 being shipped for the MB 128GB and I ordered on the 13th so hopefully mine is on one of those planes that landed or on one of the ones coming today!

My JB+ 128 went to back order overnight as well. Ordered xx:17 on 9/9 with the same shipping window. I live in DFW about 5 minutes from the AT&T center. Hopefully I will have my phone tomorrow!

It was yesterday morning around 8 am, so I was on backorder for 16-18 hours.

Also, I'm able to track now! Hoping a miracle happens and it somehow arrives tonight! I'll be happy with tomorrow, though, I'm going out of town on Friday.

Hey Gang - Update on my JB 128 7+ Ordered on 9/9 xx:54 am. (Sorry for people who ordered before me and haven't received good news yet)

Yesterday when I first checked 6737 in the morning it was back ordered. I woke up to an email that my phone shipped at 2:37 am so not exactly sure how long I was back ordered. It's expected to be delivered by 8pm tomorrow.

I'll still be anxious until this thing is in my hands.

Just a small update. Previously I said I hadn't gotten a text from AT&T when my phone shipped, however my sister told me this morning they texted her around 1 am. We're on a family plan and I thought I had changed the contact info to mine but I guess it didn't work. Not sure why they wouldn't text the number the phone is going to be on.

4s? Wow, this will be a major upgrade for sure! I had the 4s back in the day. I love me some big phones, but that 3.5 inch phone had some serious reachability!! I'm upgrading from a 6 plus.

I had a 6 but the motherboard or something broke in it and so I had to down grade.

I thought so also but know since today I don't think so that's completely true. If you look back at a few posts today some of them came from Memphis. Looks like that's where they 1st received tracking numbers. It doesn't make since

I think the order is Alaska->Louisville(UPS)->Fort Worth(ATT)->Memphis(Fedex). Its hitting everyones main hubs then gets to memphis(if Fedex is delivering it) and sends out from there. That is at least what my wife's phone showed

They didn't charge me for my wifes phone until the 19th, we received it on the 16th. AT&T is going to get your money you can bet on that.

Ordered 256 JB Plus 9/9 at 3:30. It's been preparing to ship from the 30th through the 7th from the get-go.

Since I haven't had an iPhone since July, thinking I'd get a new on toward the beginning or middle of September, I finally broke down and bought a cheap 5C from Let's Go to tide me over till or if the JB arrives.

Well, you got screwed bad. Mine is worse tho. I ordered 9/9 3:11am ET, but it then changed to 2:11am ET, then to 9/10 11:57AM. Now I'm looking at end of November assuming not another round of backordering.

We both got screwed bad. I would imagine mine will change to a November shipping date at some point.
