Online. One order placed on 9/11 for my husband and other one 9/14 for me. Both iPhone 7p 32gb black. No movement
Just changed to backorder in the last hour or so!!! iPhone MB 32GB 7+, ordered on 9/13 at 10:18 am EST. Northern Virginia FWIW (I personally don't see how our location affects this process, but who knows).
Edit: Forgot to add, original expected ship dates were 10/11-10/18. And, as others have experienced, only got the backorder status using *6737#. Online status still shows preparing to ship.

Lets clarify a few things.
Backorder is GOOD-- not shipped yet but will be soon
On line website doesnt update until it ships and even then it might not update at all.

You ordered the 24th?????? WOW I ordered the 19th 2 128GB silver plus and still nothing. That really irritates me

I got the delayed shipping to end of November email though too before it went into backorder so who knows.

Lucky on that Silver, dang. I ordered on 9/16 iphone 7+ 128gb Gold and still no updates. Although I don't hear a lot of people talking about the Gold on this thread so probably not a popular choice... Hoping I get it before the 10/14 - 10/21 expected ship date
