You know you have a problem when the first you do when you wake up at 4:40AM is to check the status of your JB+ 256GB order! 
But it's backordered! This changed between now and 7PM last night. This likely means that it won't find its way to my doorstep on Friday - the only day I'm working on-site! Murphy's law strikes again!
For point of reference, I ordered on 9/9 at 7:35AM EST - so sorry to those you haven't seen movement yet.. AT&T obviously is throwing around phones and shipping labels with hardly a care in the world..

Does it show online when your phone goes to B/O? Mine only shows it in the message from *6282#.
I don't think so. I can't check for backorder so I have no clue because I'm switching to att from sprint.

With all the JB shipping now, looks like the 32GB matte black is the new unicorn....
Been following this thread like crazy when it was around 40 posts... signed up now to reply. Been texting 6737 like crazy and finally...
I ordered a 32GB matte black on 9/9 at about 9 that wasn't processed until early am on 9/10 (estimated ship dates are 10/7-10/14) and just got the back order text via the 6737 and the phone number said one or more items unavailable. I'm not holding my breath but hopefully this is good news like others have said and I get tracking info soon(I have ups, usps and fedex setup for text alerts just in case).
I made the dumb mistake of going AT&T again this year for the promotion after my 6plus fiasco where I preordered on AT&T at 3am eastern and canceled the day after launch as I reserved and picked up my phone at apple the when it went on backorder at AT&T. I saw Best Buy had some yesterday but AT&T wouldn't honor the promotion that expired on 9/25 so I kept my preorder.
Hope everyone starts seeing movement soon!

My unicorn just went to backorder sometime between 6am and 9am today! Got the update through *6737#
7 plus matte black 32gb ordered 9/10 around 3pm. Original estimate 10/7-10/14. No email yet.

I ordered a 4.7 JB 128GB 9/9 at 8:08AM ET and my order is still in progress. Expected ship dates Oct 14-21. I have a feeling there are a LOT of people in my camp that won't see anything till those dates! I hope I'm wrong!
Are they gonna ship any 128 MB pluses soon?
Did your online status change? I am unable to check via 6737 message so I don't know how else to check if phone is on back order?
I just checked online and it still has the same "preparing to ship" message it has had since I ordered. Based on what others have said don't think that will change any time soon. The text and calling 866-267-4510 are the only ones that provided the backorder/unavailable status.
