Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

Ordered two phones at same time- RG 32 MB+ and 128 Silver + on September 24th. RG went to backorder last Thursday and shipped today via USPS. Silver was still processing and ship dates were 10/28-11/4. I had $650 promo for the silver. Sam's club had the silver in stock today so I called ATT and they let me apply the promo to the RG that shipped today. Cancelled order on the silver and bought at Sam's club. They had lots of stock on plus models, I suspect other retailers do as well. Not sure if this helps anyone, but thought I would share.
Same here I feel like ever since they emailed everyone and moved our date up backorder don't mean anything any more and the date is gonna be the date

You might call and talk to someone in customer service. Last year the same thing happened to me and after 6 weeks of not updates I called and they informed me that a "glitch" in the program resulted in me appearing (to me) to have ordered but I really did not have an order in their system. Had to start all over. Unhappy that I got up at 2 AM for the earliest pre-order I could get and didn't get my phone until three months after the release date.

Ordered the same phone yesterday (256GB 7+ in matte black). Still says "in progress" with estimated ship date of 10/31 - 11/7. My wife and I are coming from Note 7 phones. That was our first and likely last foray into Android territory. Looking forward to getting back to consistency as we've been with iPhones since the very first model and had decided to try the Note 7 when the released.
wow that sucks, first try with android and you got phones that blow up lol. i never had a iphone this will be my first. i was faithful all these years to android always got the best phone in my opinion every year and this year would have been no diffrent untill the note 7 disaster, i looked into the google pixel but its all smoke and mirrors. when you look at the specs its nothing special. so to me in my opinion apple won this year and they get my money lol maybe next year will be diffrent? maybe it wont.
but still cant wait to get this damn phone. not used to buying a phone and waiting weeks for it to come.
Update- I picked up my JB+256 at the Apple Store! Cancelled my ATT order. This has been a grand adventure with you guys. I might stick around, but if not, see you all next year!

I've seen people waiting weeks. I did mine on Friday 10/14, got backorder on Monday 10/17 and today I got a mail with usps tracking (still hasn't shown anything) att is handling the first order first serve thing poorly. Really weird.
yeah i noticed people in the att ordered after me with same set up and already got it.

What did you guys order and when did you order it? I am in the same boat with a JB 7+ 128GB. Same date for backorder and new shipping estimates are the same as well
Ordered the same phone you did. Ordered on 9/9 @ 7:33 pm CT. Went on backorder on Thursday and my dates are 10/28 to 11/4. We are literally on the same boat...
Wow. I thought At&t had gotten past the Sept 9 Orders by now. I have seen so many people leave that I must have thought that we had moved on past that date. I ordered on Sept 18, so I am more than a week after yours. I think it is appalling that this First Come First Serve Ordering system does not work anywhere close to how you would expect it to work. My dates were moved from Nov 28 - Dec 5 up to what they are now. Hopefully you will see movement this week. You guys are both due a phone by now.
Take a chance at your local BestBuy. Both AT&T and Apple and Apple.com showed 3-5 weeks for iPhone 7 "Jet Black" 256GB so I checked BestBuy's website for closet online availablity and I walked in the same day and purchased one. No waiting and zero flaws.
Did you pay full price, I just checked my Sam's club and they have the one I want in stock as well
I signed up for the next plan. No deals on upgrade, but new lines get a $100 gift card- bummer.
Weird stuff happening folks. I ordered MB 7+ 256 on Monday (10/17) with estimated delivery date of 10/31-11/7, and I just got shipping notification last night, and I have been tracking it through the FedEx website since then. It will be here by 3:00 PM today. My empathy for those who ordered WAY before me, and are still waiting, is overwhelmed by my anticipation of getting it within 48 hours of ordering. Sorry, not sorry.
Wow, good for you. I'm bummed though, I ordered a MB 128 + on 9/19 and have heard absolutely nothing.
