Some Apple stores have the 128mb MB plus..Can i place it on hold and pick it up and cancel my order there?
 
Crossing my fingers for an email tomorrow morning, but I am now just hoping I get it by the end of next week. I am guessing the Mb + 128 was the most popular model, and I can't really complain because of the 650 credit.
 
(2) 7+ MB 128GB ordered 9-21-16 @8:00pm estimated ship date 11-2 to 11-9. No movement. Just talked to customer care they said probably will not get here before the projected ship dates based on thier information from supplier. I am hoping they are worng and are just overwhelmed by callers and they are just giving out this info as the company line since other similar oerders have come in ahead of the original ship dates.

Ordered my MB+ 9/19, I've given up hope on getting mine this week. now expecting it with my original ship date of 10/24-10/31. Disappointing but I feel weird complaining about something that I was never technically promised in the first place.
 
iPhone 7 plus MB 32GB ordered on 9/21 with original ship dates of 11/2-11/9 and updated ship dates of 10/12-10/19 just went into back order status. Chatted with an AT&T rep on live chat and he said it would be delivered tomorrow morning.
 
So freaking frustrating... I went into the store to get MB and at the last moment I decided to go with JB, thought The wait would not really be this long as they initially said .. but looks like it is ...i would have gotten MB a week back...
 
Finally! I just received the tracking number for my JB Plus 127gb. Ordered 9/10 at 6:37pm PT. Went to backorder on 10/13 and shipped 10/19. I tried to track it on UPS but it's not available yet. How long until I should expect to see the tracking available?

2 weeks ago I decided to start a chat session, they told me that my order was canceled (Despite website saying in progress) because I needed to go into the store to verify my identity. So, I called, as they advised me to do, and phone support said that it wasn't cancelled.

So, I have a 50/50 shot of getting this phone this upcoming week.

Anyone else with a similar story that actually got their phone?
 
I also got my final shipped email from att,
fedex overnight, ill have it friday.

timeline:

iphone 7 + jetblack 128gb

- 9/10 6pm ordered
- 10/13 email with est dates changed and backorder status through *6737#
- 10/19 bank acct charged
- 10/20 received 2 emails from att about my phone being shipped with tracking numbers fedex overnight
 
Ordered a JB 128 7+ on 9/11 @3:30pm-ish and went in to back order last Thursday. Noticed yesterday that my account was being charged for the phone. Still no change in status via text, email or order web page.

Hoping it will go out today for delivery tomorrow. I have my new cases coming tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

Hah! So I decided to check my order status with *ordr# and it couldn't find it.

So I called support and they told me that the order was cancelled and that I have to go to the store to verify my identity. They said that they emailed me but I have no such email (not in spam or deleted items). Apparently I have to go to the store with two forms of ID and then they will process the order. Guy on the phone said that it would keep the same shipping window.... I made an appointment to hit up the Center City AT&T store at 1 PM today to verify this.

I'll keep you posted.
 
As a followup to my post from earlier, I got the shipping notification and tracking number and it will be here tomorrow.

So I had almost a one month wait from launch.

PRE-Ordered AT&T 256 JB plus 9/9 @ 5am EST.... Ships Mid November. How is the heck can we still be waiting for preorders and istocknow website shows these phones popping up all over USA still, daily!? I am outraged by this. Never have I seen this in all my years or Apple pre-orders.

Seriously thinking about cancelling and just waiting for the 8. Still hoping.
 
Hello Everyone!

I have been following this forum for quite sometime now and decided to make an account and post my experience. I ordered a 7+ 32gb Matte Black and a 7+ 32gb Silver on 9/20 around 11am in store. Original ship dates were November 1st-8th. The Silver went on backorder status on October 5th, shipped October 6th and received it October 10th. I then received an email from ATT on October 13th that said "Good news, your order will ship earlier than promised" for my Matte Black with new shipping dates of October 11th-18th. I then received an email from ATT the night of the 18th that said "We're sorry, but your shipment is delayed" and my estimated ship dates changed back to the original ones of November 1st-8th. I also received a text message at the same time stating my item was backordered. No movement since then. Looking forward to chatting more with you guys.

Then last Thursday it went into back order status and as of today no change it has been 7 days since any movement for me. I have no patience and so over the waiting, am really just giving up hope that it will ship prior to ship dates. :(

I pre-ordered the same config (JB+ 128gb) on 9/12 at 1:45pm ET and received that email with updated ship dates of 10/31-11/7. I have NOT yet been moved to backorder status. At this point, I doubt it will arrive before the estimated ship date. I am frustrated that I pre-ordered 3 days into the window and still don't have a phone, but people are able to walk into a store and get one.
