Has anyone had problems upgrading after an insurance replacement iPhone replaced your original? Att sent a brand new replacement when ours had water damage. I cannot upgrade now and I speculate that is why.
You have to go to a store to have a manager verify that in your account and override the system. They might be able to do it through customer care (611) but I am honestly not sure if they can. If you go to a store make an appointment online; it will save you a lot of time.
 
You're definitely not the only one. I've seen several through this thread. I can't say for certain that you will get yours on launch day. However, two years ago when the 6 Plus was the today's Jet Black, I received an estimated ship date of halfway through October and received it on launch day. So there is hope. As for the "Preparing for Shipment" most people are on that stage..I guess I'd consider it a good sign. Hope you get yours on launch. :)

You'll know your phone has shipped when you're missing money from your account in the next coming days.. They usually charge you when you place the order to make sure your bank account has the money for the tax or full price if you're buying outright then they put it back in your account after 72 hours or so. They're just like Amazon you won't be officially charged until your phone actually ships so keep an eye on your bank balances that's another way to know it has really shipped out to you.
 
I'm not pissed at AT&T. And I certainly wouldn't give a customer service rep any trouble; it's not their fault, and they can't do anything about it anyway. I'm just pissed about the fact that I stayed up until 3am and wasn't able to preorder the phone for launch day. Isn't that what preorders are all about --getting the phone as soon as possible. I can't even be pissed at Apple. I just wish they had more inventory ready to ship.
And for me, it's the not knowing that bothers me. If I knew exactly when I was getting the phone I could make better decisions about how to proceed (cancelling the preorder and waiting in line). Although, my order status hasn't changed since the night I preordered, so there's almost no chance I'll get it on launch day. I'm probably just gonna cancel the preorder and wait in line at the AT&T store. I just hope they have at least a couple devices per model.
The funny thing is all I heard these past months from the pundits was how poorly the iPhone 7 is going to be for Apple in terms of sales.

Wow... You ordered before the preorder even officially started and there's still a month long wait. I'd love to know what this is all about. I'm assuming you got the Jet Black, but I would have imagined you would have at least gotten a closer shipping date when you were essentially in the front of the preorder line.
Have you even heard about anyone getting a Jet Black iPhone 7 with a launch day delivery from AT&T? Maybe Apple didn't allot them any since they were so short supplied...
Yea I know I was glad to get in and it took like a minute to order it was smooth no issues but yea I got the jet black iPhone 7 plus 256gb - a few people have a week before me that ordered after me which is whatever lol it would be amazing to get it on launch

Not sure if it means anything but I tried to cancel my order to see what would happen. Risky I know but.

It said I couldn't cancel because it has been sent to shipping.

Ordered 3AM 9th with Delivery from the 30th to the 7th.

Is anyone who pre ordered suddenly having problems accessing their usage on at&t site. when I try to view my features since this morning it's been showing: A temporary system error prevents us from retrieving your account information right now. Please try again later.
 
Well don't know if this mean anything, but I can finally see my installment agreement for my iPhone, as before nothing was there although the installment says pending. Also when I entered the *NEW# my status changed... My order status still says Preparing for shipment, but there are some noticeable changes on my account. I preordered the iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black 128GB 10 minutes before preorders launched.

I can check my order status without an issue now. However, I am starting to get nervous that we won't see any 7 Pluses on launch day - even if we ordered right at launch. My AT&T order status literally says ordered at 3:00 am and I have a 1 week delay.
 
I'm sure that I've seen it discussed in this forum already, but I don't want to sift back through 65 pages of discussion.. I've just now noticed that the pending charge from my preorder from 9/9 at 2:50 am EST has disappeared off my bank account. Has there been any significance to this in the past?

Weird now the $76 in tax was returned to my bank account, what does that usually mean guys?
