Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

I wonder what the reasoning behind the shipments. Do they go out in waves. Get out the regular iPhone 7's than send out the 7+ in a later shipment? For some reason I picture a large factory with a large shipment of 7's and 7+'s and theyre just working there way through the 7's before moving on to the stack of 7+'s. Of course I could just be talking out of my rear end since I have no idea how the run things. Just trying to make sense of not seeing anyone with a 7+ matte black get anything yet. Mine still reads "preparing for shipment" with a Sept 23-30 date range

While I don't think the shipping dates are accurate (way over estimated as represented from past pre-orders) I do think they are a representation of your spot in line for a particular Iphone size and color. I am still showing 9/23-9/30 for my Ip7+ 128 black. Feeling optimistic about getting Friday.
 
I guess I should have pre-ordered the 128GB Black 7+, seeing as some of you may possibly get it this Friday. I had a delivery date of Sept 23- Oct 30. I plan on getting in line at a local ATT store. How hectic can it get, this would be my first time ever waiting in line for an iPhone.
 
I hope I can get mine soon as well. Does anyone know if there needs to be a signature?

Yes, I got a shipment notification from ATT. I got a text message from ATT about 1-2AM overnight saying one of my phones has shipped. I also got an email about the same time that provided a FedEx tracking number and link.

This is for the 7 128GB "Just Black" (matte).... it shows it's with FedEx in Texas currently as has been for the past several days.
Order date: 09/09/2016 at 4:10:25 a.m. ET (this was because the AT&T website "went down for maintenance", for me, 2 minutes after the pre-order opened and then when it came back up an hour later it didn't process my first two attempts because it didn't provide any phone options to upgrade too.)

My order for the 7PLUS 128GB JET Black still shows Preparing for Shipment with Delivery window October 14, 2016 - October 21, 2016. That was Order date: 09/09/2016 at 4:15:29 a.m. ET (because my card was declined for suspicious activity and I had to clear that up)

Takes 24 hrs for tracking to go live , or till fedex updates there system. You'll see by morning or likely tonight

.... Duh they all do lmao. Overnighted packages with high value items. Granted you can presign it by fedex or ups. But you bite if it get lost or stolen after they scanned delivered.

given 9/23 - 10/7 as the dates

still preparing to ship/ in progress

pre-auth on card from 9/9 - 9/12 then disappeared.

last year phone was delivered fedex

Order did not process, had to put in a new order on 9/10 at 10:01AM CST with original delivery date 9/16

That's exactly what my husband is waiting on. Same dates. Hasn't shipped yet.
