Yes, I got a shipment notification from ATT. I got a text message from ATT about 1-2AM overnight saying one of my phones has shipped. I also got an email about the same time that provided a FedEx tracking number and link.

This is for the 7 128GB "Just Black" (matte).... it shows it's with FedEx in Texas currently as has been for the past several days.
Order date: 09/09/2016 at 4:10:25 a.m. ET (this was because the AT&T website "went down for maintenance", for me, 2 minutes after the pre-order opened and then when it came back up an hour later it didn't process my first two attempts because it didn't provide any phone options to upgrade too.)

My order for the 7PLUS 128GB JET Black still shows Preparing for Shipment with Delivery window October 14, 2016 - October 21, 2016. That was Order date: 09/09/2016 at 4:15:29 a.m. ET (because my card was declined for suspicious activity and I had to clear that up)

For some reason I picture a large factory with a large shipment of 7's and 7+'s and theyre just working there way through the 7's before moving on to the stack of 7+'s. This is not correct. FlightAware is guessing based upon past years. There are zero preorder iPhones coming thru the Louisville hub this year due to logistics reasons. Some will end up here Thursday night for final shipping but not on the initial mass shipments.

At the same you won't know how many iPhones they have and what Config. It's only when you get up there and yea we only have this in this and this color. Take it or leave it .

My iPhone 7 RG 128 preorder was assigned a tracking number on UPS this morning, shipping from Louisville....

Sounds like non-black phones are shipped, matte blacks are starting to roll out, haven't seen one Jet Black, anyone confirm?

I ordered mine at 1:58a CST on D-Day, Jet Black 128 GB and have an Oct 14-21 window...Hopeful it's just a miscue. My credit card company sent a fraud notice, but I accepted the charges. My wife's 32GB Rose Gold was ordered 1 minute after mine and I received a shipping notification this morning.

Pre-authorization charges dropping off a credit card only ever mean that -- they've dropped off. I've learned to never read anything into dropped charges (it's the unauthorized charges that are the ones worth doing something about).

My wife and I are ordering through AT&T's Upgrade Every Year facility, because we know that the 2017 iPhone (based on supply chain rumors) is going to be "the" iPhone to get. Regardless, concerning the whole credit card charge thing, we got charged for taxes as of 9/9 and nothing else. We won't have our installment plan initiated until we activate our new phones (replacements for our iPhone 6 Pluses already in hand).

256GB
Black (of the matte sort)

PSA: Thank you to all those who bought Jet Black iPhones -- you've left us getting the "standard" black with plenty of stock!

What stock of plenty? LOL - it seems like the stock is non existent

Matte Black been like this since friday, however, my fathers 7 128g Matte black shipped this morning, he ordered his a whole 5 hours after me 🙁

Well you can verify it when you get your tracking info lol but my source can be determined by my username and location. I will just say these phones are heavily guarded along the logistics route. So I can't provide info I may know but nothing says I can't provide info I know is NOT happening. 😉
 
As mentioned in a previous comment:

Both wife and I ordered matching iPhones:
iPhone 7 Plus
256 GB
Matte Black

After getting screwed over Apple's preorder process and attempting to get through their third-party loan facility (Apple makes great devices but has a terrible order processing system), we went with AT&T:

- Both iPhone 6 Pluses were off installment
- Ordered wife's at ~8:30am ET 9/9, shipping 9/23 - 9/30
- Ordered mine at ~12:30pm ET 9/9, shipping 9/23 - 9/30 (special note: upon initial order, My Orders screen at one point showed "Backordered," but then several minutes later showed as current shipping dates)
- Chose the Upgrade Every Year option for these phones; intend to pay 50% by this time next year, just in time for the 10th anniversary iPhone (where supply chain rumors insinuate it'll be "the" phone to get). Will then trade in and go forward.

By the way, if your shipping (not Delivery) dates show something beyond this Friday, I'm very confused why you would think that you'd receive the device by this Friday. These dates are given for a reason, so quit causing yourself so much consternation; know that you're in line to get one, and you'll get one 🙂

Same thing except I got the 128g. Charge disappeared from my bank account but order still reads as "preparing to ship" so my concern of having my order cancelled has kinda subsided but ill feel much better once I get a tracking number
