Carrier iPhone 7/7+ AT&T Pre-Order Thread

So I have been reading this thread since post #1 and it has given me plenty of minutes, I mean hours, of enjoyment. My AT&T 2 years was always up within a week of any new iPhone release (not counting 'S' editions) and always pre-ordered via Apple; however, I decided to go with the AT&T p-o this time. I p-o'd a 7+/128/matte black at 3:03am Friday morning and have a 9/23-9/30 shipping window. Now that I've got that out of the way, I have a question for anyone with higher capacity iPhones. I ordered the + because of the camera, I used to be a surfing photographer and currently take many photos with my iP6; however, I also ordered the higher capacity because I was going to stream movies from my phone to Apple TV. I own an iPad mini 4 (I'm in school so it helps with my digital textbooks) and other than for school, I use it to stream movies from VLC app to Apple TV.

Has anyone used their phone to stream movies from an App to Apple TV (via mirroring)?

I know this is a little off topic, but figured it would be a quick diversion from the "where's my tracking" discussions.

If you record a video (for example) with your iPhone and simply want to stream it to the Apple TV, it should work well depending on your internet speed. If you're using a 3rd party app for the iphone, it may not work flawlessly. If the video is in 4K, apple TV does not support that, but should play it in native resolution in terms of your tv, etc.
 
My iPhone 7 plus jet black 128GB is still in "preparing to ship" status with 10/13-10/20 delivery window. I placed my order with Att at 2:53am on 9/9.

I was seriously not expecting to get it on Friday. I ordered Sat morning with a shipping window of Oct 7 - 14.

Iphone 7 Plus Rose Gold 128gb

I just got home from work and had an email saying Your items are on their way! with a UPS tracking number. Right now all it says is A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

That's the exact same one I ordered but I ordered 10 minutes after preorders began Friday and mine now says backordered. And my delivery was September 16.

The thread is getting confusing, so if anyone in Chicago plans to camp out in the city, hit me on private message here or on social media. My iphone 7 Plus Gold has shipped but I really wanted Matte black so I'm considering camping out.

Come camp out in the burbs. A lil safer probably. Im pretty sure security hangs around the campers though. If I decide to camp, will probably be at the Naperville Apple store.

same it had ship 9/14 -9/15 when i order at 2:45 am et but it got cancel and reorder itself around 5 some change am et and it also had same date ship 9/14 -9/15

but my other rose gold also got cancel and order around 4 et and it says backordered now but has delivery by 9/16
 
I'm ready for the upgrade because my 6S' battery is draining super fast every day. I've tried a reset, battery reset, etc., nothing works. I'd like to replace the battery myself, but need to order the supplies.

Mine says backordered but still has a delivery of Friday. I wonder if this means there's still a chance? Also on the first page before you click to see the delivery information it still says preparing to ship but when you click to go to the second page that's when it shows backordered.

I live 10 minutes from the Apple Store downtown, so I can't really justify driving out to the burbs. :(. Had I known the estimated delivery dates were just padding, I would have ordered Matte black arghhhhhh. Now I'm stuck with gold

Same so weird but lad I tell hope for the best, expect the worst.

Since even tho I'm getting an rose gold on Friday I can't use it. My parents (both roses golds) are out of country and I'm not gonna activate the iPhone with the Insim. Because they are out of country with existing iPhone with sim and addon international plan.


So basically if want to use the new iphone 7 plus , I will need it in black on Friday.

So my fml I will have an iPhone on launch but I will be staring it and just admiring it but cryin an river :mad::)
