Carrier iPhone 7/7+ EE ( UK ) Pre-Order Thread

CS said there nothing wrong with my order and I should get a text later or in the morning and expect my phone delivered tomorrow or Saturday the latest.
 
Just had a confirmation email and on the DPD app for delivery for tomorrow. Ordered iPhone 7 plus gold 128gb. Around 7.40PM over the phone

Just spoke to EE, apparently if it hasn't gone to courier by now then it isn't coming. Mine isn't and I should expect it within 21 days, she said over 28 days for jet black

That's a plus - 256gb in matte black and ordered before 8:15 over the phone

I think we all know that the majority of Plus models will not be here tomorrow.
It sucks, EE have pulled the wool over everyone's eyes and just BS'd their way through the week by claiming to people that they will have their new phones by tomorrow, when they probably knew way before that they couldn't fulfill them.

When I ordered my Plus 32gb (black) it said delivers in 7 days, so that was clearly a lie too.

So disappointing. iPhone launches are usually filled with excitement and joy ha, not disappointment.

I ordered a 32gb Matt Black on Sunday and that is here tomorrow
 
I was upgraded from 128GB to 256GB yesterday at no extra cost (matte 7+);

Upgrades said I will get it sooner- within 14 days, while the wait time for the 128GB I ordered last Friday evening!! was 21 days.
On calling today, I was given a very "encouraging" update- 256GB is very high in demand, should get it in the next 4 weeks?! I am starting to think that EE have got no clue what they are doing...

At the very least I am getting the 256GB version...
 
I spoke to a CS person as well, because... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and got told that apparently I can expect mine "within the next 7 days guaranteed" (128gb matte black plus). I explained that I HAD to know a window of when it'll arrive and how long the store will hold on to it as I'm having it delivered to the store near my work which is an hours drive away and they "assured me" that it would be middle of next week. Hmm... My belief in them is very low.
 
I spoke to CS on the phone, they said if I haven't got a text by 5-6PM I should give them a call.

I ordered a 128GB 7 Plus in matte black.

Who knows what the hell is going on.
 
Spoke to Cs. Lady was surprised I was told delivery tomorrow as it's being released tomorrow. Order showing as open not picked or anything. She can't guarantee anything. Will be calling back for some sort of a deal tomorrow if it doesn't get dispatched.

If you are saying that you have been told you are getting a Jet Black 7 Plus tomorrow we are going to need evidence because no one in the UK is getting one tomorrow.......not even those who have ordered direct from Apple at 8.01am last Friday.

More likely they haven't cancelled your original order in time and it is the gold coming tomorrow.

Just called up to clarify and the 32 gig 7 plus rose gold I have dpd tracking for coming tomorrow. My jet black 128 7 plus hasn't been picked and they don't know any info on when I'll get it. So I don't see anyone getting it on release day.

Guess I'll call up at the weekend and see what the progress is. Pretty annoying as I sold my phone and am phone less ATM.

Just been told in store that there are NO 7+ in the whole company until November and I'll be contacted to discuss options.

My only real option is to wait rather than take a size I don't want.

Strange comment since the carriers usually get the stock to sell/distribute on launch day - not the day after!!

This is bull haha. If JL can supply a rose gold 7+, EE (A mobile phone carrier) can supply at least 1 7+ 😉😀

I tell you what, if there is no 7+ in the whole of EE until Nov, apple really did screw up their stock analysis for this launch.

However I think they meant they are now out of stock of the ones they have and potentially not getting any until November.

What colours? Mine is a 7+ rose gold and DPD says its on the way!

I was the first person into their Glasgow store and I'm being told no chance till November. I find this whole situation ***ing ludicrous.
