Like the idea of the 12 month upgrade.
With EE, do you need to give the phone back to them or is it yours to keep and sell etc?
You can keep it but you need to pay like £300

so if you return it with no major damage you just get a new one when it's out

Guessing you send it back once you get your new phone

You can return it and get a newer phone or pay £310 and keep both. I'd pay the £310 and then sell the older iphone for a profit and make a bit of cash!
 
To be fair, when I got off the phone to them Sunday morning to 'confirm some details' before my order could be processed, I got an email to say 'your 4G device is on it's way'.

So maybe it's just a generic thing?
I don't even think mine is coming Friday, as I ordered a black one. But the email that was sent seemed pretty generic.

I don't even think mine is coming Friday, as I ordered a black one. But the email that was sent seemed pretty generic.

I've yet to receive a confirmation email! I'm sick of chasing it! Apparently, it's not a problem, but I'll not get an email until the phone is ordered (!). God knows when that is!

Hi. Yes got first email after I ordered but now had second one. Looks as though payment on my credit card has gone through too.
 
I've not had a confirmation email either. Well I did get one after my online order on Friday but changed it and redid over the phone yesterday. Payment has come off though for my £6.98 delivery charge (because they are giving me handset for free :D) so am not overly concerned.

Model I have ordered JB 128gb 7+ has now moved to 28 days delivery on the EE website. Was 14 days on Friday and 21 on Monday. Hoping it is the delivery time quoted when ordering and not the current state.
 
Still nothing here. Not even a confirmation email. Might give them a call tomorrow to find out if it's still due on Friday.

How do you check the app?

I upgraded Sunday, took payment there and then. No email, nothing. Rang them said it's an 'open sales order' - asked them when they are being delivered and she told me they only get stock on Friday from Apple so no deliveries are out on Friday....

Really conflicting information from every EE rep I speak to. First , I was told that I am definitely getting my 128gb matte black on Friday as I ordered last Friday evening.

Second guy told me there's a 95% chance of me getting it on Friday . Today's rep said anytime from Friday this week to Friday next week . . . .
 
Will ring up tomorrow to confirm. Two years ago some idiot - not me- had ticked the wrong box and they were sending me an iPhone 5. Not the most efficient outfit in the world.

I hope I am not getting the wrong phone. They are upgrading me to the 128gb 7+ without any upfront cost on the handset which seemed almost too good to be true!!! :(
 
I thought this whole thing was too good to be true when EE were claiming to deliver jet black plus on launch day, despite not even apple.com being able to from the moment preorders went live. Time will tell.

EE's social media folk are saying deliveries will happen on Friday. Seems inconsistent message depending on who you chat to.
