Hi all!
ive come from a iphone 6 to a 7plus - Im finding it takes forever to charge up....taken around 30 minutes to go from 40% to 44% i have it connected to my pc at work - but my 6 would charge up really quick even with this connection. but 4% in half an hour seems a bit strange to me?? any comments are much appreciated!

Any time you charge from a CPU, it will be much slower. A wall charger is optimal. The 7+ has a larger battery, so it stands to reason it takes longer to charge.

The default iPhone (regular and plus) charger has 1A and since the Plus battery is bigger it takes more time.

The USB port has 0.5A, so yes, it will take forever.

When i'm in hurry i use my ipad charger (has 2A) because it's supported since the iPhone6 and it charges a lot faster. I don't understand why apple doesn't pack the Plus with the 2A ipad charger.

But since i usually put my iPhone to charge at night, it's no big deal.

But it's about time apple includes the 2A on the bigger model.

The pluses definitely need the bigger charging units! I used to put mine on charge at night but also used to use my headphones at the same time.....o_O not complaining though as its a great device!

Hi guys,

I am considering to upgrade my iPhone (from 6 to 7), but can not decide which color to go with.

My previous iPhones:
3Gs - black
4 - black
4s - white ( my favorite color and phone)
5s - space gray (my 2nd favorite model) - fingerprints & scratch resistable
6 - Silver

From the official picuteres that can be found on the internet, I really do like matte black and gold color. As I am not using any cases (simply I do not like them), I worry a bit that fingerprints and smudges will be too visible at matte black model. I can recall some issues people have had with iphone 5 - scratches and smudges were all over the phone, after 2 years of usage lot of phones looked just like crap. Space gray at 5s had been a great color, scratches, smudges and fingerptints were barely visible.

Can you please share some experiences with the matte black and gold versions? It would be great if you can also share some photos, if possible.

You're worried about fingerprints? Try using my Samsung galaxy s6

I got the silver 6s and love it. I ordered the black matte for the 7. I wanted rose gold but maybe next year! Matte Black looks pretty awesome to me :)

I've seen jet black and matte black in person.. jet black shows fingerprints muuuuuch worse than matte black.

I know it's naive but I like to pretend everyone in the store whose fingerprints were all over the phone were engaging in eating egg rolls, pizza, hamburgers, and bacon prior to coming in. But honestly, I agree, it's much worse on the Jet Black.

Hahaha. I love it!

Gosh I'm so indecisive when it comes to color. I got the matte black and I'm not sure if I want to keep it. Last time I got a space grey 6 plus and The entire time I wish I got the gold one. Now I'm kind of wishing I got a silver one. The only reason it's hard for me to go with white is because I think the phones look kind of silly when the screens are off. Also, the matte black isn't so exciting after having a space grey, even though it's a nice color. Argh

I got my iPhone 7 128gb Matt black yesterday I really like it the screen is bright and very clear, it is very fast and smooth and the camera is excellent. I'm very happy with it. I'm so glad to get rid of my HTC I had for a month never again. Hope you all enjoy your new iPhones.

I only bought my latest white silicone 6S plus 2 months ago!

Anyway I've settled on the pink sand silicone case for my 7 plus but I want to use my spigen and moko clear cases mainly as I want to admire the rose gold.

I did just today end up giving my Apple red case to my son and he seemed happy with it. So YEAH! Do you have links to the cases you are referring to? I'd like to enjoy my Rose Gold as well.

I can go a whole day with heavy usage on my 7 without having to charge it.
I'm loving the battery on my 7. I used to have to charge my phone (6s) after a full day of work and now I come home and I'm still at 68%. :D

it's cool. I'm still waiting for my skins and bumper to deliver. so far, and for the most part, I really don't like how it's crackling between the screen and body. it's very annoying.

Nice set up!! What bumper did you find?
my go-to bumpers are always the RhinoShield CrashGuard along with their screen protector. those are on pre-order.

(definitely worth YouTubing!)

I always do that with a rear skin. and dBrand are my go-to skins. I picked up my usual white carbon fiber and pre-ordered their new Hyberblack skin.

Cool thanks! very interesting

No proof then, thought so.
Just to respond to this request, week 37 proof attached. I was walking around the Louvre at the time, so it was low on my list of priorities.

Week 37 - Copy.jpg

You can clearly see this is common from the buzzing/static sound thread:

https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...rom-back-of-new-iphone-7-plus.1997077/page-24

Just for instance, you can see same week in posts 597, 598, 599, 600 (multiple w37 copied) , 601, 602, 603, etc.

Hope this puts this question to bed.
