Really not sure which colour to get! Was set on Matte black but now thinking of silver since I have always had black phones. Anyone picked up a silver and loves it?

Had silver after always having black phones, but returned it, not because of the silver but because i just cant stand the white fronted iPhones. I think they look awful when the screen is off/blank, just don't look Apple like too me too cheap looking, when the screen is being used they don't look to bad, i would stick with black if i were you. Out of the black phones on the 7 i would definitely go for the matte black, it looks much nicer and classier, the JB looks cheap and plasticky, not like the black iPhones of old.

I've had the SG for the last two years so will be picking up the silver-can't wait!
Awesome. I keep my phone in a case so if I get either black they won't look any different to what I am used to. So I guess silver will feel new.

Has anyone with a plus had a chance to see how long it takes to charge the 7 plus from 0-100% with an iPad charger?

Do 7's come with the "blob" stock (dynamic?) wallpapers that have been on display during the keynote and all promo product pictures?

View attachment 654058 I think those are some great pics! Thanks for sharing.

I received my phone at about 5 last night so I didn't have a lot of time to play with it as we had dinner reservations at 7:30. Managed to take this in a very low light French bistro. Don't remember if I edited it at all as I was already on my second glass of red.

Wow! I can't believe how clear that is. Nice photo :)

Same here. I'm glad I downsized, the size is perfect and very comfy to use.

Me too. 6+ for 2 years. Trying to downsize. How are you all feeling about the battery life coming from a 6+? I hoped the low power cores and increase in battery capacity would go a long way to bridging the battery life gap, but (admittedly after only 2 days) it feels like I'm not going to be able to cope. Already found myself reaching for the backup battery today and at 9pm i'm sitting at 10%.

How's it for the rest of you 6+ - 7 switchers?

Here's mine new iPhone 7 Rose Gold 128 gig. Though not much different in the looks department from my Rose Gold 6s, I do like the new features, such as the home button, which I admit took some getting used to, but it's all good now. I love the stereo speakers, one on the top and one on the bottom. I did put a white Apple case on this one and I really like the look together. I had a red one on my old phone. My red case is still in excellent condition, not sure what to do with it now that it will not fit my new one. Apple sure knows how to make money off of you, by making you buy a different case. I've also been watching youtube vids about all the hidden or untold features of this phone it's been fun checking them out.

It's good quality but I think the leather is too smooth to be a case. Wish they had gone for a more rough finish.
This is the only thing I did not like about the saddle brown case I got for the 6S+. I even scuffed the case up hoping that would help but it smoothed out from the scuffing, too. The black leather case maintains a quality leathery feel.

I got the silver. I absolutely love it!!! Doesn't look cheap to me when it is not in use with the white and black screen. It's different. I had all black iPhones before and was getting sick and tired of them. The white is a real nice change of pace and I think the colors on the screen "pop" against the white face. :):):)

I can go a whole day with heavy usage on my 7 without having to charge it.

I only bought my latest white silicone 6S plus 2 months ago!

Anyway I've settled on the pink sand silicone case for my 7 plus but I want to use my spigen and moko clear cases mainly as I want to admire the rose gold.

I have a question on the OIS. If an app has a selection for 'stabilisation', will it turn on/off the OIS or is OIS on all the time on the wide angle lens? The reason I ask is because if I'm turning it on and it is only a software stabiliser, it might counter the hardware OIS resulting in less stabilisation. I know that by mounting a camera to a tripod and having IS turned on my DSLR, this will affect the performance of stabilisation and so it's recommended to keep IS turned off when tripod mounted. Just took a picture with the Camera+ app with stabilisation turned on and shot at 1x, it didn't look very sharp and think it might be because of these two things working against each other.
