Worst part is... I technically have a reservation in an apple store for that exact phone this evening.

In the long run, I think I will be happier with the MB over my preordered (9/9 4:23am 803452xxx) 256 JB. Hopefully it's smooth sailing at the Apple Store tonight.

Hoping for smooth sailing for me too.

Yea, I already made up my mind I'm going to wait out the time frame they gave us. It's only a couple more days. I'm not doing this preorder bs next year. Let us know how the reservation works out.

I had come to the same conclusion yesterday. I was just going to wait it out till my original 10/7 date. THEN... I saw on the myorder page from sprint that the expected date is now 10/26-11/3 and well... I'm not in the mood to wait another 6 weeks.

I'll report back!

Well I successfully got the phone I wanted at Apple last night (32g 7Plus MB), after the sprint store promised it on launch day 4 times, then told me mid October the next call, then continued to push it back.

I had called earlier in the day for a payoff quote for my iPhone forever plan and I realized I could pay that phone off and sell it to recoup funds, so I said screw it I'll go to the Apple Store and get my new phone. Easy peasy.

Once I had it, tried to use sprint chat support and they quoted me $70 higher to buy out my lease. Online chat and online supervisor were useless in correcting any of the situation, including the wrong payoff quote from earlier in the day. Called in and the lady was happy to give me a credit to make up for the mistake. Long story short, I am out of a sprint contract, have my new phone, and will be activiating it on Verizon today. Now to just sell my 6s plus!

Good luck everyone

I have 2 reservations this evening for my wife and me. I'm hoping if I cancel my preorder I will be able to convince them to let me purchase using the Sprint Lease program in store. If not... It may be so long apple and so long sprint.
I suggest you call the store & ask them. There's no point in wasting more time if for what ever reason they say you can't.

Next time I'll just pretend the iPhone is released in December that's when they'll have plenty of stock for Xmas shopping.

Yeah I'm still gonna give apple a go tonight after work. I'm still quoted 10/12-10/19 and my iPhone 6 is crapping out. I need a new device now and not later. Just hope apple is willing to work with me

So, I'm one of the few who bought the phone very late like 9/16 8:00 o'clock in the morning late. And got this email last night. Good news? Maybe not, but hey.

Got an email this morning saying mine was finally shipped. Wonder if this has to do with me calling every day or not.

ok I'm getting ready to head to the apple store to see if I can grab this 32GB 7 plus i Reserved. For anyone with experience on walking into the apple store and getting on the Sprints leasing and not the iPhone forever plan, what should I say or go about this? I know not a lot of reps have experience with this. Not trading in my phone to apple, or trying to buy the phone outright

I'm so hoping I get some kind of email today. I ordered at 8pm on 9/12 RG 7+ 32g. I'm trying not to get my hopes up though. the rep I spoke with the other day told me 2-3 days and I should be seeing tracking. It's been 2 days now so fingers crossed

Well I live about 7 hours from an Apple Store and for as awesome as it would be to Pokémon hunt and get my new phone on that trip, that's a long ass drive lol
I had to drive a hour & half to get my phone. Out of all six stores that's close to me. The only one that had what I want was the furthest from me.
