you can do iphone forever. But they have to do it on the ipad. The option doesnt show up if they dont do it on a ipad.

but the question is how do you make a reservation? I dont want to pay the down payment for iup...and the only other option is 2yr contract or pay in full


No way! I literally reserved a 7+ MB 128 at my local Apple Store this morning , called when they opened to see and they told me I couldn't. I'm def gonna look into this

I did sprints lease/iPhone forever plan. An no you don't need a credit card. They didn't ask for anything since I didn't have to pay for anything.

So, after thinking about my situation tonight (original order never went thru so we had to reorder yesterday), I'm wondering if there's any way that our phones were ordered in a way that wasn't tied to our account, since the system was down when we tried to order and we were told the order would go in that day.

I'm probably going to call tomorrow to see if I can find out, since that's when the lady we ordered from works next.

But yeah...this whole preorder ordeal is going to put me in the nut house for sure...thanks Sprint!

Yes you need a cancel your pre-order. Unless your paying full price then it won't matter. If you're using an upgrade then you'll need a cancel your order & have your upgrade eligibility reset. That's what I had to do, but they did it quickly for me.

yes, but beware, almost every associate in the store had never done a sprint lease upgrade, so we were there for over an hour, but we got through using trial and error lol
This is so true! My reservation was for 7-7:30. I ended up being there after the store closed. Didn't leave until after 10pm. It wasn't bad though because everyone was super friendly & kept a laughing, but sheesh sprint. It seems like they drag their feet at every turn.

When I go to reserve these are the only options I'm getting. I'll call and reset tomorrow and see what happens. I can't remember how I reserved last year

Sorry I didn't post as soon as left the store but I got pretty busy after that unexpectedly, but basically I'm stuck. No answers, no order number...no nothing. Can't cancel my order because "it's on back order and the order can't be seen." Which I called BS. Didn't work though.

A little comedy though...

Rep quoted me an end of November ship date. I had to pull up their own shipping chart and show her that the dates for orders placed before 9/16 are 9/23 - 9/30. Lol.

Either way. All I got from my store visit was what I already knew, a transaction occurred for a preorder, there's no evidence of that transaction producing any kind of tangible order evidence, and they won't let me cancel because of the lack of evidence. Lord help me. Lol.

Hoping everything works out for you. This whole process has been horrible, especially with the in store orders since apparently there's either tracking or no tracking for them, with no gray area. There SHOULD BE tracking for all orders, rather placed in store or not, but apparently Sprint isn't quite advanced enough to offer that...
 
Just reserved my MB 32GB 7 Plus at my local Apple Store. Hopefully this goes smooth with me switching from AT&T over to sprint. I already have my sprint line and everything and I don't want to buy the phone out right lol. I'm in college. So fingers crossed

Absolutely. I knew I wasn't going to get my phone today. I just wanted confirmation of my order and even that was too much to ask. Lol.
 
Can someone explain this whole reserve IPhone thing for me. The lady st sprint said I shouldn't have to pay anything since I already have an account open with sprint. She said reserve the phone, cancel the pre order. Then ship my 6S plus back to them (Sprint) when my return kit comes. Is this correct? I just find it hard to believe I'm about to walk out the Apple Store with a free IPhone, and it's 35min from me so I don't wanna waste the gas lol
 
When someone gets their tracking number, does the information always show it originating in China? Or is that only in a few cases here and there?
