Still waiting for any movement on my 2 128GB 7 Pluses - matte black and rose gold...
Ordered at 3:00AM on 9/11.
I would've had my order in sooner, but Sprint's website kept rejecting any multiple iPhones that weren't all rose gold 128. I attempted to call the order in, but two times I spoke to idiots who didn't know what they were talking about. First time I got disconnected after waiting 45 minutes to talk to someone. The second time she tried to tell me my 2 DIP iPhones on unlimited data Framily Plan (12 month upgrades as part of the plan) had to be paid in full to upgrade, even though Sprint's website showed upgrades available with RMA kits. The plan was to upgrade both to iPhone Forever, as mine is.
The first idiot also kept trying to get me to agree to the "free" generic tablet with a contract, which I wouldn't be eligible for even if I wanted it, as my account is already maxed out for devices. Then, she kept trying to trick me into device protection, even though I clearly told her I didn't want it.
Last year, I had to wait until October 1st to upgrade (12 months in on my DIP) which was only 6 days after release, and my 6s Plus shipped the next day. With that in mind, I'm sad to say I accept as fact that this launch is either very constrained, or there was extreme demand for the iPhone 7... leaning towards the latter from reading reports of record preorders. Keep in mind that the huge success of the iPhone 6 sales are now turning into 2 year upgrades available for the 7 for many customers, which would account for this surge in sales. I'll call it the baby-boomer effect.
