We originally tried to order on the 9th, but there was an issue with Sprint's system and the order never went through. We didn't find out until the 22nd, at which point we went in and placed a new order. Their systems were going by the order date of the 22nd until I sent Joan an email and explained the situation. Fortunately, she was able to get our ship date pushed up since our order was supposed to have been placed on the 9th.

When did you order? If you ordered earlier on, and don't hear anything by the end of the week, I'd definitely get in touch with them. You never know what strings they may be able to pull for you.

Yeah because my original order date was suppose to be 9/10 but got pushed back to 9/12 due to sprint not being able to figure out how to transfer my account on to my own bill and I had to wait over weekend until that Monday.
 
My ship date is tomorrow supposedly, don't know why I was dumb enough to think that Sprint would come through and I'd get lucky enough to physically have it by tomorrow. Hope they actually ship out when they are supposed to! JB 128GB 7+ ordered online on 9/9 around 7am. Order #8034988xx

Ordered JB 7+ 128GB at 2:03a CDT on 9/9, and I still have nothing. No tracking, nada. This is getting absurd.

And that dweeb Darren wouldn't even give me credit on my bill the other day when I complained, LOL. Given, I didn't go begging for it, but I figured he would at least offer it. He just said it will ship by 10/7. Ugh.
 
I got tracking for my 7P 256 MB through Marci's team which is replacing the 9/9 3:49 AM preorder that was lost by UPS.
They got it done. I placed the replacement order on Monday 10/3. Delivery tomorrow.

It's been a long time coming AppleB. You most of all deserve to have your device NOW!! Well you & the guy who had his JB order changed to MB by store mgr without his consent. Someone posted here yesterday they've had their 7 plus for a week and said besides the camera it's the same as 6s+. Couldn't DISAGREE more. Idk what that guy uses his phone for but my battery life is now 2+ days on one charge (I'm using my phone constantly all day). With 6s plus it was less than 2 days. I have about 70 things of music, 15 movies and other misc media that uses about 165 gb. It took me a whole day to completely set up my 6s plus last year. With my 7 plus I restored from backup & downloaded all that media locally - took less than 2 hours. The area around the processor got red hot AND I could hear the whirring noise (no big deal). I could go on but if you're a serious iPhone user you will notice the difference. Easily the greatest smartphone to date. Love it!!

I also upgraded from a 6 plus and I couldn't be happier. It had gotten to the point where I was charging my phone at least twice a day if not more and now I'm back down to once. It seems much snappier than the 6 plus, the camera is a huge improvement, and I actually like the new home button (I know this is a personal preference and some don't like it). I am extremely happy with my upgrade. And I was able to get the matte black which I love.

What Joan said after my message to her today. Fingers crossed that sprint will make this deadline.

If you could provide your whole order number to my email ddrosness@yahoo.com, I would really appreciate it. It seems you got your phone way before others, this may provide us with some much needed leverage with sprint.
 
Hello everyone, I've been reading along in the thread as I ardered a RG 128 7+ in store on 09/19. Then last friday I found it on bestbuy so I ordered it and it was delivered yesterday. Sprint said that I can't cancel my instore order until it's in the warehouse.
Another thing for everyone who got their phones, I noticed it make some """ hiss """ sound right at the back where the camera and the logo are. Just want to know if anyone else have this issue?

The hissing sound typically happens when the CPU is under intense load. These chips are based on the Intel Skylake line processors and the Skylake ones do the same thing. On the plus side, at least the processors are made by Intel this year :)

Right. And you will as long as the processor is working hard in the background. Just because your screen is locked doesn't mean it's not doing something. Especially if it's restoring data, updating etc.

I preordered on the 15th and cancelled a few days later. They had no problem cancelling my order and it was definitely not in the warehouse when they did it. Who did you talk to?
