Carrier iPhone 7/7+ Sprint Pre-Order Thread

While it may be "in stock", it's probably already claimed by someone waiting like us. That's just inventory, not necessarily what's available.

I get this if I don't input all the numbers. Like missing last number on a copy and paste.

As I suspected, phones are reserved for IUP customers. None available for Walk-ins here at North Park in Dallas. Jet Black is a nice phone. Not a fan of the scratches though. Takes away from the luster. Definitely a fan of the Matte black. Oh well, I guess I'll go buy some socks.

I don't think I would be getting the Jet Black if I wasn't planning on getting the 2017 iPhone. I figure a year of scratches and maybe a replacement with Apple Care+ if I drop it is something I can live with.

Thanks for checking that out at the Apple Store, though. If you hear something different, let us know!

Looks like I'll be going into Apple on my lunch break. I have one literally right down the street. I have the MB 7 Plus already on order from Sprint but I can just cancel that whenever the hell it arrives. I've got one more phone on my account eligible for upgrade. Figure I could use that one to at least get the phone from Apple and possibly have Sprint swap some stuff around later if possible. I have a 6S 16gb that I only pay 15 a month for so hopefully they will allow me to swap the upgrade later because I would rather not trade that phone in and risk losing that low price leasing.

Edit: Welp, I just read the guy's post above and it seems they are for reserves. I had one reserved too but when I noticed I couldn't do the 17 month lease option on Apple I let it go. Guess I'm back patiently waiting. I might go up there and check for the hell of it though.

If you're close by, give it shot. Here in DFW we have six Apple stores, three of which have + MB 128 GB in stock, but I'm not up for driving 100+miles round trip searching for a phone.

Reading the AT&T thread some MB 128s have shipped and 1-2 silver 256, all plus.

So Apple stores have their IUP devices, AT&T has some, yet Sprint doesn't.

I'm not expecting order status to change before late Wed/Thursday, and the I am expecting the worse.

Hope I'm wrong.

Actually I am also waiting for the 256+ gold. However, you are the only other person I have seen waiting for the same one I am.
 
Anyone in NJ freehold Apple Store has sprint matte black 128 7 plus models if I didn't have my son today I'd be heading there now

I'm willing to bet that inventory was on hold for in store pickups. I could be wrong but I have a difficult time believing that iPhones would be delivered to stores for walk in traffic when countless people did the whole pre-order process. I could be wrong though.
 
So I just came up on something that might help anybody who's impatient, can possibly cancel their order through Sprint and are willing to get the phone from Apple directly.

Follow this link to reserve a 7 or 7 Plus in the Apple store now: https://reserve.cdn-apple.com/US/en_US/reserve/iPhone/availability?channel=1&iPP=U

I cross referenced with istocknow and it seems to be accurate. Not everywhere has stock of course but quite a few locations still do. The 7 is widely available of course...it's the Plus that's a bit harder to find...it's out there though.

Wish I knew this earlier before my store's stock depleted...I could possibly have the phone I want now. Hope this helps someone though.

Edit: This seems to be for the iPhone Upgrade Program only.

So I decided to join in on the "lets call Sprint and get more details game". I spoke with the order support team and found out absolutely nothing. Ultimately they're getting daily updates from Apple and receiving iPhones into the warehouse (per the rep I spoke with) and at the end of the conversation I was told I should have both my 128+ matte black & rose gold by or before 9/30.

Yup, I Reserved one in Fort Worth and then scrolled all the way down to where it says I have to turn in a current IUP iPhone. Lol. Denied.

Thanks for your efforts nonetheless.
