Just spoke to Trinity Leeds Business Team, very strange...
"we don't ringfence for business so no point coming in tomorrow, HOWEVER, click the link on the apple iPhone 7 webpage on Saturday morning at 6am and there will be an in-store reserve page with phones available for collection that day (this Saturday) ?!"

Just read an e-mail from the retail director at Solutions Inc, who informs me they only get 20 Jet Black iPhones as a whole company. He didn't elaborate on whether they were +'s or regulars or what capacity's they were but did say that they would fulfil their pre-orders.

Spoke to a lass in the Apple store yesterday (member of staff I hasten to add...), and she said they are expecting to have the Jet Black iPhone on display for actual touching.. not hidden in a glass display case or anything.

In other news, I've had the Bose SoundSport wireless headphones for the past couple of months and can highly recommend them. They're £139, and you can buy a charging case for them for £39.99 which I did... so £180 all in to rival Apple's offering - but you're getting a better ear-fit and superior sound quality IMO. The design and intuitiveness isn't as elegant as Apple's implementation with the EarPods, however fit and sound quality always trump a bit of glitz for me. I'm willing to bet they'll come down to £119.99 soon enough too... I got a stonking deal at JL because they were priced wrong on the shelf and the manager honoured the display price (which to be fair I don't think they *have* to do).

Weird to think that for those of us with pre-orders, our iPhones are either out there somewhere in a box waiting to continue or start a journey of thousands of miles - or is a load of components and materials awaiting an incredibly advanced assembly process (I suspect the former at this point even for those with early Oct dates!)

Mine's gone too, I've spoken with Apple Customer service and they say there's nothing worried about, the pre-authorization amount they did days before and now it's gone means it's pre-approved already, once they prepare for dispatch full amount will be taken off.

Cheers. I just phoned my bank and Apple there and all is good. The Apple guy said they'd take the money "by close of business tonight" and I'd then receive the Ready for Pickup email soon after. Woo! No problems.

Struggling to keep up with this thread whilst also working and sleeping!

I have a JB 7+ on order as an upgrade from EE as they are suggesting better delivery (14-21 days) than my online order direct from Apple (which is due November by the time I managed to get into the Apple Store on Friday morning and realised there were no JB+'s available to pick up tomorrow :()

Since there were no JB+'s to reserve for tomorrow I panicked and reserved a Gold 7+ 256gb with no real intentions of keeping beyond the 2 weeks.

However having seen all these nice brown and tan leather cases am starting to think I might go for the gold after all

Am going to be doing a Kitty here!!

Annoyingly I picked the last slot of the day in the hope that someone might have failed to collect a JB+ and I could swipe that instead - I really wished I had gone for the 8.15am that was available so I could enjoy the store opening since now we know there will be no JB+'s floating around tomorrow!!

I have received a text message from Apple saying my iPhone 7 plus 128gb in gold will be delivered tomorrow. I have paid an extra £10 for it to be delivered between 8.30am and 10.30am with dpd

People seem to be forgetting that although the deliver by date is changing (mine was the 20-22 anyway), the dispatched date remains at 6-8 days which means the phone will not dispatch until next friday at the earliest. All this changing address will not make a bit of difference!
I think you are right. I added my county but no change. 4-10 queue by the way.

Yeah, they do the reserve page for everybody.

Did you contact Apple or DPD in regards to get it delivered between those times? Also when did you arrange it?

My phone isn't being delivered tomorrow (7+ 32GB Black) but would like mine to be delivered between those times on 20th-22nd.

Now I hope someone near me did that too. That way they will put my parcel on the same expediated delivery run...for free :)

Joking apart, this happened on the 6 launch for me. I live in a cul-de-sac and unknown to me a neighbour ordered one too on 'priority' delivery. Spoke to the driver (we know him quite well) and he said mine would have come normally late afternoon, but it made logistics sense to put it on this van :)

Interesting that I'm seeing quite a few iPhone 7+ 128GB Matte Black orders being shipped to US customers for delivery tomorrow but none over here! You'd think there would at least be some, surely?

Thought priority deliveries came out on a separate van nowadays I have a separate driver for pre-noon deliveries?

Everyone is in the same boat with Vodafone. No one has received any information regarding deliveries. Their live chat are useless and know less than we do.
I have two friends who ordered upgrades with Vodafone. One with a 7 black, one with a rose gold 7+, both dispatched with delivery tomorrow. They have tracking numbers too. Obviously no help if you're awaiting on a 7+ black/JB

Yeah, they do the reserve page for everybody.
But then surely everyone with a date after the 16th Sep will now reserve and collect from an Apple Store on Saturday instead, why aren't they shipping phones out to people who have ordered them in-order, rather than sending them to the stores.

They may do, but if my delivery is the only other one this way, it saves them a lot by putting it on the van. Our driver does two shifts anyway, morning and them back to depot for afternoon. Got to know him quite well - he starts at 7am at the depot and normally finishes by 3:30pm. He says the most frustrating thing they get is that if the delivery slot is say 11:02-12:02, he can arrive outside my house at 10:55 and he cant give me the parcel as the software wont let me sign for it.madness really.
