iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

Just wanted to get a thread out for preorders made by Uk residents! Currently have an iPhone 6 Plus but preordered through Vodafone for it, this time I'll be going through Apple as I get a discount on Apple products through my work.

Sold my Galaxy Note 7 last week to fund buying a iPhone 7 Plus outright, so just wanted to hear other people's plans and hopefully people's updates as they go through the exciting/nerve wrecking experience of preordering for release day delivery!

As of tomorrow (Friday September 9th 2016) please feel free to update the page with your preorder details, what you purchased, delivery window etc, happy preorder day!

Still using my 6, decided to skip the 6S last year. Can't see me going another year without a change, so hopefully will be getting a pre-order in this week.

Have had white iPhones for years, and although I still love them, I'm wondering if it's time for a change this time. Not for gloss/piano black though, my OCD wouldn't cope with the fingerprints. Do quite line the idea of a matt black though.

Will be ordering via the app , iPhone 6 64gb gold using at mo, thinking of a change to the matte black
 
Will be pre ordering through o2 as I am due an upgrade this month from them on my contract, will be going for the plus in 128GB capacity and black colour if the rumours are true about the new colours, if not will get space grey.
 
Locked my 6s 64GB into envirophone today. They normally give you 21 days to ship your phone off. plenty of time to source one and decide if it is worth the upgrade.

I'm hoping they bring there upgrade program with them to the UK for the launch as I will definitely jump on that for the iPhone and use the proceeds from the 6S to get the new Apple Watch.

I may do the same. Last year there was an extra 5% voucher and bonus for taking Amazon vouchers but it looks like that is not the case this year. Shame.
 
My contract with 02 is up tomorrow so I'll be pre-ordering in store. The last time I went to pre-order with 02 I was on the phone for 45 minutes waiting to get through to be told that they wern't taking pre-orders (which was wrong). I was also refreshing their page which kept timing out and waited to get through again after being told incorrect information. In the end I went in to one of their out of the way stores and preordered at half 10 and was the first one to pick one up on launch day.

Last year I pre-ordered with Apple which was a breeze.
 
Currently have a iPhone 6 Plus, hoping to pre-order an iPhone 7 Plus 128GB in the glossy Piano black colour, if I like the look of it.
I will be pre-ordering via the app this year (hopefully pre-orders start on Friday at 8am here in the Uk) using Apple Pay as well, it should be a lot quicker as I won't have to enter in credit card and delivery details. So fingers crossed I'll be able to pre-order one for release day!!

Having done it with Apple Pay and the app for my iPad Pro I can confirm that it is way less hassle and hugely quicker!!!

It will be my first time pre-ordering with Apple Pay, but i have it all set up and ready. I'm literally thinking it will be a matter of, selecting the model, colour, storage option, add to cart and then use Apple Pay, cutting out the need to enter debit card and delivery information which takes the longest.

After about 10-12 days without sending your phone, they email asking you if you want to lock yourself in for another week from the end of the 14 day period. You just have to confirm the extension in the email

Sold my iPhone 6s Plus 128GB for £550 a couple of weeks ago.
Im now using an iPhone 5C in the interim and have gotten used to the smaller size.
Will therefore be going for an iPhone 7 and not the plus.
Hopefully the battery life is a bit improvement on the 6s as that is one of the biggest advantages of the Plus models.
And as always I stay well away from the shady Mobile Providers and buy direct from apple

The code extra5 does not work any more. There is a new code cloudextra5 with which it seems like you get an extra 5% initially but when the confirmation email comes through it doesn't show the extra 5%.

Must have stopped it today. I used extra 5 no problem yesterday

Could be. I decided to wait until today to give me the most time before I need to send the phone in. It would be nice to get the extra 5% but I will settle for the £451 I'm getting from them right now. I'm sure it will go down tomorrow.
