Quick Question — People reserving iPhones at 6:00am on apple.com... Isn't that for customers who want to sign up to the iPhone Upgrade Program? Or is there a way to reserve it and pay for it in full?

When are the majority of you calling it quits for the night? These last minute Dispatched messages are keeping me up...
This has been asked many times before! You have to reserve via upgrade programme but you can pay with any method you want, including in full on a card.
Where are you? It seems that they are dispatching based on location with certain areas not seeing anything yet (like Norfolk for example).

I live nowhere near an Apple Store or John Lewis.
From what I've read only John Lewis can be trusted with the whole thing!
Is there a good time to check their stock or does it just appear randomly on their website?

Yes you can pay in full. I decided to go with the lower monthly payments of the iPhone Payments plan as didn't really need the AppleCare and I could only reserve a 256gb on launch day.
Not with my iPhone 7, but when I ordered my iPhone 6, that did the same sort of thing, started in china and went a little west then back
Yes - mine is showing the same for the last two events. And it's meant to be here on Wednesday, so i assume it will move tonight. (128Gb / JB / Plus)
It's probably because I recently sold my iPhone, therefore no numbers are associated to my account, on a £20 cheapo android phone waiting for my 7 Plus!
