Fully understand what you mean. Let's just say I know a bit more than most think on this forum ;) If it's just cosmetic damage & you actually are a responsible phone owner, you'll be perfectly fine for the upgrade in 11 months time. I'd still recommend getting a screen protector, if you are fully intending on using without a case bud.

According to the Terms and Conditions of the Upgrade Programme it says:

Condition of Financed iPhone when Exercising your Upgrade Option. As noted above, your Financed iPhone must be in good physical and operational condition when exercising your Upgrade Option as determined solely by Apple or Apple’s Trade-In Partner (“Trade-In Partner”). For a Financed iPhone to be considered in good physical and operational condition, the Financed iPhone must:
  • Power on and hold a charge;
  • Have an intact and functioning display;
  • Have no breaks or cracks; and
  • Have Activation Lock disabled (you may be asked to disable at the time of upgrade).

As such, I would assume natural wear and tear would be absolutely fine.

My reservation is for 6PM but I don't think I can get there until after 7PM, I'm trying to call them but they're not picking up! I was only given 6:00 - 6:15 to reserver

so I was monitoring the iStockNow and it showed stock in Liverpool One. A minute later and 30 refreshes of the reservations page - I was able to reserve a black iPhone 7 Plus 128GB. 45 minutes later I drove to the store, got my phone, cancelled the order due for October.

So... best advise - don't bother with the 6am crap as everyone will be on it at that point - your chances are higher during the day and monitoring http://www.istocknow.com

Good luck lovely people.

p.s. I went from a 6 Plus and boy the 7 Plus is fast like a maniac! And... I have the hiss

A 256GB Black 7+ showed up just in the nick of time for me this afternoon so I reserved and made a mad rush to Meadowhall & back again. Had five minutes spare before I was gonna be late for work

Cancelled the iUP agreement for the iPhone 7 I bought on Monday and gave that back.

The screen protector is one of the thing I don't want to use. The screen on the JB is so glorious as it curves into the body I just loved the feel of the one I tried in store yesterday. What with Apple Care, I presume any screen issues are nothing to worry about.

Why did you cancel the IUP agreement?

Same with me if I do get mine tomorrow it won't be opened till evening or Friday got 550 photos to transfer and lots of mp3s aswell as apps lol
I use iCloud for photos (thousands of them). Took just 6 mins to transfer my iCloud back up to my new iPhone 7+ all as it was before. All my pics visible on photos from the off.

Just been to Norwich to pick up my reservation of a black 256gb plus. I was an hour early but they let me have it then, was in and out in 5 minutes. Did the upgrade program. Just cancelled my online order. Now to trade my 6S plus with someone! On way back home for a fiddle with it.

Carphone warehouse are quoting £55. I'm not using eBay, I've had issues in the past and then there's the eBay tax.
Not bad £55 mine has scratched up glass on the screen even though I've bought the part to sort it I don't feel confident to change it I have changed the whole screen though but eBay screens come with problems I had to put the original back on it hopefully I will get over £50 for it with the part and other screen lol

eBay fees do suck I just pay them a fiver a week and there happy :D

I ordered my jet black 128gb phones at 0805 on 9th Sept with a 26th Sep - 3rd Oct delivery. Earlier today switched to 'dispatched' but says will deliver on the 29th. I notice other people with confirmation emails after 0805 who have already stated theirs have been delivered.

My bank (NatWest) called me yesterday morning to state that they had blocked a payment to apple as it was suspected fraud (even though my apple watch payment went through fine)!!!! AAAAAAARGH I called apple and the payment was then taken - I am thinking that this has put my dispatch behind everyone else.

Thanks NatWest!!

I got told by 2 Apple staff last year that screen scratches aren't covered by AC+ or the accidental damage part of it. It's considered wear and tear. Not sure if that's still true but it made me go with O2s insurance at the time.

Yah, I think AC+ only covers smashed/broken screens and I think you can only claim twice, with a £25 upfront premium.

Back home now with my 256GB matte black. It said 1 Hour to restore from iCloud backup then said unable to connect with the server. Now trying again and it says 2 hours! Any one else had this?

Mine has arrived!
Deciding to restore from backup, says it will take 30 minutes.
Heard people say that they've run into troubles with restoring but figured I'd try anyway, no huge loss if it doesn't work...

Pushbullet script has been very unreliable for me, nearly all day saying there is stock at Reading but whenever I look for collection or for upgrade program it does not show any stock. Very weird.
