I ordered Jet Black...think it'll be a while. Been looking at the Matte Black, as I have no preference between.

Having been into an Apple store and handled both, in regular 7 size, I must say the MB is very nice!

I was surprised, as I thought going for the new JB was going to be an easy decision. To be honest, I preferred the MB on first sight. The JB was almost plastic looking and the MB had a more premium look. That said when I spent a little longer with it (I was in the store for a while!), I realised that the glossy feel of the JB chassis blends seamlessly into the display glass, for, what I can only describe as an infinity touch (I think I should patent this before Apple gets their hands on that strapline). Anyway, what I mean is when you swipe the screen from left to right or right to left you're finger/thumb glides over the curved screen and slightly into the back case and it feels gorgeous (maybe I'm getting a little too excited about this). When you do the same on the MB you go from warm, smooth, curved glass onto the cold matte aluminium chassis and there is a slight ridge between the two. This for me was one of the selling points of the JB.

Admittedly the JB is a huge grease and fingerprint magnet, particularly the Apple logo on the rear, which seems to attract oil swirls! But that said the MB isn't without it's faults ether. For some reason it is super slippy. I mean more so than any iPhone ever made!!! I was so surprised when i picked it up from the display stand and it pretty much immediately slipped out of my hand (AND I have a strong grip). This obviously won't be an issue if your going to case the phone.

For me though, having gone through the process of thinking about cancelling my order, I've now decided that the plus, in Jet Black will be perfect for me. My intention is to either get a reservation on the IUP or when my pre-order arrives, taking it back to the Apple Store for a refund and resale under the IUP terms. This will mean I will be able to use my iPhone careless. I will probably keep it in a leather phone pouch however. Ive seen a nice one here -

Plus my full skin, should I choose to use it has been shipped from Best Skins Ever -

First thing I'm going to do when it arrives is put in in a full body protector. I've bought, and rather agonisingly received the black  leather case. I'll likely go with the case for a little while, until I lose it or it gets too beat up and then I'll just rely on the protectors.

I've not seen either in person yet. I just really like the look of the JB, reminds me of the iPhone 3g (this being my first iPhone).

There is progress! "Being prepared for shipment"

Do the Apple stores get a delivery on a Saturday?
[doublepost=1474700882][/doublepost]Kingston has black 128gb plus! I'm holding out for a Jet Black
[doublepost=1474700915][/doublepost]And 256gb
[doublepost=1474700998][/doublepost]3 so far uploaded if anyone is London based and wants a MB

I believe Apple has been holding back the stock of the iPhone 7+, either reservations are being lost or they are slowly releasing one or two phones for reservation every hour.

The iStockNow website is the best tool to use to secure your phone.
Keep http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/iphone/iphone-upgrade-program open in a tab and the iStockNow site open in another. Refresh the iStock now page on the hour.

I woke up at 6AM to see that all the stores had 7+ models in stock here in the UK. By 6:01 it was a red map. Now at 8:05 I've managed to secure a 7+ 256GB in Black by pure chance. I have been trying to get hold of one using this method for the last few days. I was beginning to loose hope, don't give up!

Happy for you mate. I have the stock map open, the reservation page open and pushbullet operating with full force! If only I was after a MB plus I'd probably have one by now. Alas I'm after the illusive JB plus. I've even widened my search to include 256gb! My 4th-10th Oct pre-order is still showing processing and while it is, I will continue hunting for IUP reservation stock!!
[doublepost=1474701644][/doublepost]Amazingly Kingston is still showing stock of 256gb MB+ stock!

It's bloody exhausting, but I think I'll miss the thrill of the chase when I eventually get my iPhone :(

BUT.........that doesn't mean I wouldn't be over the moon to source a JB for collection today! :)

My order for 128gb JB is still saying processing with delivery date of 4th - 10th October but the 4th is only a week on Tuesday so hopefully will see some change on the status at the start of the week

Ok so this is probably the most stupid question ever asked on here.

If my bank declines the transaction for security do Apple tell you through the app etc or do they just send you an email?

Also does anyone know/have experience of it been delayed if you re authorise the card straight away? Does it push you to the back of the orders again?

Keep trying. More stock is coming online all the time. Just grabbed a MB 128 + at Bluewater. Very happy bunny.

My MB 7+ that was delivered on Tuesday has this buzzing hissing problem .

If I manage to reserve a phone can I still buy it outright or do I have to use the iUP (something I don't want to do)?

managed to get the 128 MB+ at covent garden!
Thanks to the script and pushbullet
i was in such a panicked rush to 'win' i just clicked on the first timeslot, what happens if i am a couple of hours late? will they hold it?
