Mine still says 5th October but has the shipment on time bit *crossing fingers*

I'm very abroad, and apparently roaming here is such a pain in the rear when you don't have your 3 SIM with you (I'm +9 hours as well)
I'm still kicking myself that I left the 3 SIM on the table

I have the feeling my phone wasn't on the dhl flight today Y87457 I think it will now be the Subday 2nd October flight! Was hoping for a little bit of luck!
So annoying that it's Thursday and they're just going to sit waiting until Sunday before they move again. They could be in our hands by Monday if it moved at a reasonable pace like Tomorrow or even Saturday.
Well John Lewis lied to me. I'm now on backorder, or facing the prospect of starting a new preorder for November, after cancelling mine following a phone call from JL confirming my order would be here today. So yeah...awesome.
There's only two flights with that flight number, today's and Sundays so unlikely it will go tomorrow or Saturday!
Have just called for you. Estimated delivery 02/11/2016. They said there's a huge shipment delay.

Matte Black 7+ - Dispatched on 27/09 via DHL Express from China - Est Delivery Date - 05/10
Jet Black 7+ - Dispatched on 29/09 via UPS from China - Est Delivery Date - 04/10
Both are going to the same address - why have DHL and UPS.. and why is DHL taking much longer than UPS?
The DHL tracking (via the beta.dhl link) says "recovered in Amsterdam"... recovered from what!??!
Are you guys n gals experiencing the same?

Picked my John Lewis order up today. 7+ Jet Black 256Gb and am really pleased with it. Had a 128Gb in Matte Black which I had a problem with so that one is going back to the Apple Store for a refund. Glad I went for the JB this time. Love the finish
Had a momentary scare opening my Jet Black Plus when I noticed what appeared to be a small dent on the upper right corner. Fortunately a damp rag and some elbow grease got it out. I think it was some sort of glue or residue left over from manufacturing.
In just two weeks of using the smaller 7 I had already forgotten what a monstrosity the Plus is, and it is going to take a bit of getting used to again!
Currently having some troubles restoring from backups - suffering the usual palaver of iCloud freaking out and Apple Watch sync fun. But it'll be done eventually. Backing up to iTunes is taking an age for some reason. I'm making an archived backup so I can install the 9.1 beta and play around with Portrait Mode!
Oh and did I forget to mention that it's STUNNING!?

Anyone know what the 'Recovered' Status means on DHL tracking? Still in Amsterdam. Guessing it means its been scanned for departure but not sure.
Exactly the same! I think my matte black plus is with yours, it looks like delivery next week now which is annoying! Does it have to go to Eindhoven first? Or straight to the uk from Amsterdam?
