Nope, I think what he was trying to point out was that if we applied your mentality we would never get to iPhone. I'm sure there were people at the nokia time which were saying exactly the same as you (its thing etc. enough just give me this).[doublepost=1467190347][/doublepost]That is not what I was asking for. I was asking for an Iphone that was robust and has a battery that lasts.
I assume that you knew that and were just trying to be funny
Err That is EXACTLY what you asked for. Like the old saying goes, be careful what you ask for, you might just get it lol[doublepost=1467190347][/doublepost]That is not what I was asking for. I was asking for an Iphone that was robust and has a battery that lasts.

The ring is also a classic style element. It's an identifying look that has been present on every iPhone since the original.Well I'm sure they are keeping the ring. It's what senses your finger and turns Touch ID on.
Is this something anyone wants? I kind of like being able to feel the divot where the button is.
It Will be 5 years after Steve Jobs passed away..And this is The iPhone we get
Apple should honestly "leak" some real information about the iPhone 7 because all these "rumors" have it sounding like a complete dud. If the iPhone 6s ended up failing to sell well as a product then the iPhone 7, so far, isn't a stunning return for the company.
If I were Apple I would seriously NOT release an iPhone this year, build up excitement and anticipation for another year and put some real R&D into the 7 instead of releasing another also ran product.

Though I have to say about the iPhone. I have had every iPhone since the 4s and They all were robust and the battery life was good. Maybe could it be that your battery life is not as good as should be because your unable to put it down for more than a moment?
Could it be that you have every setting turned on and constantly check Facebook and Twitter?
I bet that you reply to me saying how you have all the settings turned off that effect battery life and hardly ever use it.
If so than I believe you, millions would not[/QUOTE
No, not all of us are in robust LTE areas or solid maxed out Wifi coverage. watch the battery die a quick death as your phone "tries" to connect and disconnect between both all day long.
Can't help thinking the concave nature of the home button served an actual usability function. Haven't Apple's designers learned anything from Can'ttellwhichwayupmyAppleTVremoteis-gate?
it might just be called "iphone" or something clever like thatGiven that Apple is rumored to be introducing such major changes in the 2017 iPhone, we don't believe it will be called the iPhone 7s. We're not sure what it'll be called, so for now we're going with iPhone 8.
I'd be fine with this as long as:
1. Accidental taps are ignored - I've used a Samsung GS5, and if your hand grazes the back/multitasking button you are immediately removed from whatever you are doing. Terrible UX. Apple can do this by requiring a certain amount of force and providing real time feedback.
2. They add home button swipe gestures - something like swipe up to go into multitasking, swipe left/right to switch between the last apps.
Except for the shatterproof part.Maybe this implies the cover will be entirely sapphire. That would be cool! Waterproof, shatterproof, now I'm on board.
No but Apple could learn a thing or two from them. I want an iOS device with those requirements as i am in engrained in the apple ecosystem. So a Samsung galaxy?
i don't want an Android i prefer iOS. Wishing for simple features on iPhones that would improve the expierience doesn't mean I desire an Android.Hoe about an Android for you then, or what about adding a physical keyboard?
Maybe it'll have a butterfly mechanism.. :eyeroll:
